OBEY SKI PATROL AT ALL TIMES!

Parents, please talk with your son or daughter about the level at which he or ski should ski. Agree ahead of time about what slopes on which your student may ski, as chaperones will not be able to ski with all 80 students at once, so making the right choices on the slopes will ultimately be up to him or her. Chaperones will be communicating with students via walkie-talkies purchased by the club under Nancy Detwiler, so we are encouraging students to ski in groups so that a chaperone will always be able to be notified if needed. Do NOT ski alone! The Ski & Board Club presented a safety clinic at its first meeting, so club members should know how to classify themselves as skiers. Parents, please raise the issue with your students before the trip!
