9000 Series
The MC series of Optelecom-NKF products is specifically
designed for safety, security, and transportation applications.
With its compact design and its carefully selected com-
binations of video, data, and audio channels, the MC series
offers a full range of simple to install, aggressively priced
point-to-point fiber optic video surveillance solutions.
The 9000 series of Optelecom-NKF products is specifically
tailored to support government and transportation
applications. With its modular design and ability to utilize
CWDM drop & insert technology, the 9000 series offers
maximum flexibility and scalability by combining any number
of video, data, and audio channels. In addition, all 9000
series system modules are supported by a remote network
management capability (9900-NMS), which offers users the
ability to remotely manage optical wavelengths and overall
systemperformance.
All products mentioned on this line card come with 5 years warranty.

The MC 11 power supply cabinets can houseand power up to 11 Optelecom-NKF single-width rack-mount modules. The heart of theMC 11 is a powerful, efficient power supplyunit, based on the latest switched-modetechniques, which can supply up to 165watts. The MC 11's built-in fans providesufficient cooling for full-load operation overa wide temperature range. A powerredundant version is available in the MC 10power supply cabinet.
The XSNet switches from Optelecom-NKFprovide exceptional performance underindustrial conditions, characterized bymechanical stress (vibration and shock) anda wide range of operating temperatures.The compact switches offer Rapid SpanningTree and advanced IGMP to ensure rapidswitchover times and to secure reliabletransport of video, audio and data streams.
Optelecom-NKF offers a comprehesive rangeof data modems ranging from point-to-pointto drop and insert fault-tolerant ring operatingdata solutions.
With the 9900 Network ManagementSoftware Optelecom-NKF introduces asophisticated SNMP based networkmanagement concept for all video, audio anddata communications equipment. Thisconcept enables you manage, control andmonitor all connected modules. All vitalparameters in the system are accessible andthe equipment will generate an alarm ifnecessary.
The model 9002 19-inch 4RU chassis isdesigned for rackmounting 18 cards (15 areavailable with two supplies installed).Individual cards can be hot swapped withoutaffecting the operation of other cards in thechassis. The 9002 may be equipped with oneor two power supplies.
