PlayStation 4 users already have the ability to steam their games to Vita handheld consoles and PlayStation TV set-top boxes, but there is more in store for them now.
Sony has introduced Remote Play to smartphones and tablets – provided they are Android.
What’s this all about?
Remote Play allows PS4 users to play console games through their PS Vita.
The intention to increase Remote Play’s functionality was announced at IFA 2014 in Berlin, but no Sony has updated its Android gaming software which allows users to stream PS4 games wirelessly to their smartphone or tablet.

Owners of Xperia Z3 or Xperia Z3 Compact phones, as well the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, will be able to connect their smart devices to their gaming console.
To stream the PS4 games to your mobile device’s screen using a DualShock 4 controller connected via Bluetooth. What really makes the experience worthwhile is that the Android device can be mounted on to the DualShock Controller with a purchased accessory, to ensure seamless gaming.
How will my Android device work?
Sony has also been busy updating their PlayStation App which allows gamers to browse the PlayStation Store remotely, message friends, and manage their profile.
The home screen has received a refresh and now supports a tablet layout for larger devices.
