Account Numbers The vast majority of account numbers for Platinum Bank customers will not change We have discovered a small number of duplicate account numbers in our pre-merger discovery eforts If you have a duplicate account number we will contact you to accommodate your account prior to the merger date and will assist you in every way possible

Account Type Your Platinum Bank account type will change to the most similar AimBank account type For AimBank account types please see the Side-by-Side Comparison section of this Welcome Guide or visit our website at wwwaimbankonlinecomplatinumbank

We are happy to assist you in selecting a diferent type of account if you are not satisfed with your new account

Account Checks You may continue to use your existing Platinum Bank checks indefnitely We will be glad to assist you with future orders of AimBank checks when your Platinum Bank checks run out

Account Drafts Existing account drafts will automatically transfer over with your accounts

Account Direct Deposits We are working behind the scenes to make sure that all of your electronic deposits and payments will be re-routed directly to AimBank Any items that are presented with Platinum Bankrsquos routing number will automatically be re-routed to AimBankrsquos routing number

Certifcates of Deposits (CDs) CDs will have the identical Annual Percentage Yield (APY) and maturity date they had while with Platinum Bank When your CD matures it will automatically renew unless otherwise requested The interest rate and annual percentage yield that will apply upon renewal are not yet determined At the date of maturity you will receive a notice stating your CD has matured You may call us during regular business hours to obtain the rates

FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE In the event you have accounts at Platinum Bank and AimBank that combined exceed $250000 the FDIC has a special rule that says when two banks merge a customerrsquos deposits will be considered to be separately insured mdash as if the two banks are still operating separately mdash for 6 months after the merger This will apply until October 26th 2018

For CDs the FDIC allows the separate deposit insurance coverage to continue all the way to the maturity date of the CD We can assist you with ways to structure your accounts to give you additional coverage in the event your post-merger combined balances exceed $250000
