Music Magazine Questionnaire Results

My main target audience is going to be people of the ages 15-24 so the majority of the people I asked was of that age. I asked a few people of other ages just so that I could potentially see if anyone else outside my

target market would purchase my magazine and how their results would differ from other results

The Main Image and Stories are what stands out the most on a magazine for the people who answered my questionnaire. A few people said the Masthead made the magazine stand out, which

is understandable as Brand Image is unique

What Music Would You Most Like To Read About?

Most people would like to read about RnB. The least genre people would like to read about is pop. This set of results differs hugely to the results I got by using Survey Monkey as Pop was the most

popular result and RnB was the least popular

Posters are the most popular result, followed by downloads. Again in comparison to the Survey Monkey questionnaire I undertook, the results are different. Freebees aren’t as popular as they

were in the Survey Monkey questionnaire

What Would You Like To Be Included In Magazines?

Page 7: Planning & Research - Questionnaire

Music Magazine Questionnaire Results

The majority of people would spend £3-£4 on a music magazine. At first I thought this price range was to high for a new music magazine, but I might reconsider it after gathering these results

How Much Would You Pay For A Magazine?

Page 8: Planning & Research - Questionnaire

Music Magazine Questionnaire Results

Like the Survey Monkey results, the majority of people prefer music magazines to come out every month. 40% of people wouldn’t mind the magazine coming out every week. No one who answered the

questionnaire would like the magazine to come out every 3 months or every year

What Do You Prefer?

Music Magazine Questionnaire Results

The main reason why people answering the questionnaire would purchase my magazine would be for the latest gossip. It seems certain types of celebrities featuring in the magazine would also be a big

pulling factor for getting consumers to purchase my magazine
