EVENT SUMMARY

The Condensate & Naphtha Forum 2019, organised by The Conference Connection Inc was successfully held from 5 – 6 November 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, Vietnam. Known for its open and frank discussions on critical drivers, challenges and future trends relevant for the industry, it provides an annual platform for the exchange of industry dialogue amongst key producers, buyers and sellers of condensate & naphtha.

The Forum provided an effective platform for a meeting of minds, examining topics related to condensate production, influences from the LNG cycle, impact of IMO 2020, feedstock challenges, crude to chemicals projects, downstream aromatics, feedstock procurement, developments in polymer & monomer markets, as well as a special focus on Iran and where it stands in the condensate markets today.

CNF 2019 Highlights

Under the theme Planning in a World with Too Much Naphtha, a select group of 10 experts from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia & Singapore provided in-depth analysis and leading edge discussions on industry issues.

Forum Sessions Sessions saw lively debate and discussions on the latest developments in the industry including bridging crude & chemicals, interplay of gasoline & aromatics on naphtha, condensate splitter capacity and impact of gas plant yields on naphtha..

Attendance Profile Condensate 2019 witnessed an attendance of nearly 100 participants from 14 countries, topped by Singapore, Korea, UAE, Australia, Malaysia & Thailand, with the largest contingents from Singapore and Korea. The Forum attracted NOCs, condensate producers, buyers, sellers, traders, refineries & other downstream companies, chemical/petrochemical & feedstock companies and consultants. CNF 2019 Networking Cocktails on 5 November 2019 The Forum’s 1st day ended with cocktails hosted by Conference Connection, at the Poolhouse Garden, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, a scenic sea-facing location. An evening which began with the possibility of rain, turned out to be extremely pleasant, with the cool sea breezes of the East Vietnam Sea and the lively entertainment of a jazz duo. The evening allowed delegates to enjoy the camaraderie with fellow participants as well as benefit from the networking potential.
