Project name: Last Memory

Genre : Drama

Story line summaryThe last memory is of a teenaged girl named Selah tormented by rumours at

school, about her boyfriend Christian cheating on her. Over due course it becomes very hard for Selah to take the rumours so she becomes very

depressed and even close to suicidal. Christian on the other hand is a very hardworking teenage boy in search for a job in accounting. Christian finally after trying extremely hard for an interview finally is called in. Within the

interview the employer notices Christians half of a heart necklace hanging out of his shirt. Christian is told its not professional but looks at the

necklace and smiles as though he remembers the good days with Selah. Selah holding the other half of the necklace also reminisces over the times

they shared but sends Christian a message telling him she may take her own life. Christian sees the message after his interview and runs to rescue

her. Christian tries calling Selah but there is no answer. Christian still running, is pushing people out of the way and having to run through

obstacles to get to the main road. The phone rings as Christian steps on to the road but isn't looking.

Selah with the pistol to her temple answers the phone sobbing. Christian still not looking walks onto the road and is hit by a car. Christian is lying dead in

front of the car with the phone and Selah's voice next to his ear. Selah is even more convinced to now take her own life.

Target Audience – Age group, socio-economic,

lifestyle profiling With our target audience we aim to present our production to the age range of

12 – 30. We believed this is the ideal audience for the production we are wanting to create. We decided on this age bracket as the people within this

age bracket would be able to build a relationship with the characters because they either are of that age or have children of that age.

Our overall depiction of our film was to create a very stereotypical love story and twist it to ensure the audience would walk out of our film

shocked. We also wanted to show the sensitivity of teenage girls and even more so, an obsession with their relationship at the best of times. Also, trying to portray that at the time that we are in now, there isn't many jobs to go around and people do struggle with looking for jobs.

Possible scheduling/Publishing suggestion

YouTube: is a global platform that allows you to upload videos to get views and recognition.

Twitter: will help us to promote and distribute, its easy to update and network with people to increase to popularity of the production.

Facebook: is also a good way to promote the production by posting group posts and updates. Also uploading pictures to build up to the finishing product.

Blogger: this will be our main platform we will use to show our audience the development of our production.

Comparable products

Both of these films emphasise greatly on the element of relationships and suffering. These two films work well in comparison to ours as they both target teens and adults. We enjoyed moments in ‘Seven pounds’ , for

example the shots of will Smith running and the idea of death in that film, which helped us with our story line and creating shots. The moment that

grabbed us in ‘requiem’ was of the boy with the pistol to his head. We found the acting and the lighting in the scene made the film a more dark,

yet making the audience uncomfortable which is what we want to put across.

We have picked two favourite films in particular to compare our film to which are : ‘Requiem’ (short film) and ‘Seven Pounds’ (feature film)<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/m-eOr0LhrGo?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/m-eOr0LhrGo?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

The rationale behind our script

The aim of our production is to grab the attention of every day troubles going on in homes and outside of homes. Its to make the audience

shocked at how this sort of situation does happen in reality and hopefully by the way we interpret our film it can help teenagers who

may be in the situation of the story, in their own lives. Overall we wanted to grab the audience and show them the reality of

the world we live in and how this story can relate to some of our audience.

How will we test how successful our product is?

Whilst developing our product we have made a post-questionnaire to

receive critical feedback from viewers within our target

audience. This will help us to understand where we need to

improve and if it meets the effect we intended the audience to feel.

Furthermore we will then gain information on where we need to

improve and address those issues.

Resource constraints TIME MANAGEMENT: This is essential as this requires a lot of planning with actors. We initially wanted to

plan on one day, but after discussing this further we agreed that our film is set in many different locations. This would mean filming on different days.

Because of this, we may have problems with losing footage and making short clips which would cause us to re film . Another problem that may arise is the actors may have plans on those days you wish to film so it may not be filmed in time.

Furthermore, what we aim to do is schedule and plan our days out weeks before to ensure smooth filming days and no complications.

COSTUME: This should be kept the same throughout the whole of the film as there isn't a change of day or person. If the actor is to change we are to make sure

that we show a shot of that actor about to change clothing. This is to ensure the costume on the poster of our film is matching and so that we do not confuse

the audience as to who they are and what they present.PROPS: Props are to remain the same throughout the whole of the film , especially

on set where it is a home environment and also an office environment. Everything should stay in the same place as when you first film and should

remain there, otherwise again this may confuse the viewer.
