In my planning and production, my aim for unit F632 creative artefact was to create 9 key frames a script, location report and screen test that represented a sequence with the duration of 2 minutes, my production related to my textual analysis of how males are represented in The Purge: Anarchy (2014-USA) and Down Terrace (2009-UK), I had made it a priority to achieve a successful storyline behind my creative artefact, script, location report and screen test because I wanted to accomplish a plot that was understandable for the audience. Also I was trying to achieve the link between my production and textual analysis. This was successful because the photos I used for the textual analysis represented and demonstrated the same as the films i based my textual analysis on. What macro technique did you implement in your production work? My production work used different macro techniques which expressed the characters to be come across as more intimidating and scary. This was put into practice as of the costume Brandon was wearing and the character positioning; I also planned on using different angles which i thought would also make Brandon look more intimidating. This technique was used in one of the films I based my textual analysis on. ‘The Purge: Anarchy’ dressed the characters in dark clothing so they would look inferior. However, I dressed Brandon in a costume that was a white t-shirt covered in blood to show the danger of his character. Also the tattoos represented Brandon as having a gangster image. My production was influenced by ‘The Purge: Anarchy’ because this film was more clearly based on crime and danger than ‘Down Terrace’
