Planning a wedding is supposed to be a joyful experience, not a painful process of DO this and DO that. But the good news is that there is a way of not feeling overwhelmed by not knowing the difference between Venetian and Chantilly lace.

If you establish a manageable wedding planning checklist and a suitable time frame, the details will, like confetti, fall delicately into place. We will give you some ideas for planning a wedding that will allow you to get started and to follow through the whole process implied in the organization of your Big Day.Whether you plan to walk down the aisle one year or one month from now, your first step is to ponder these three questions:

1-How much Time do you have? An average American couple is engage 12 months before the big day. Whatever time frame you are working with, planning a wedding tends to happen in two major phases .The booking at the very beginning and the coordinating towards the end.If you have a long engagement; most of the benefits occur up front. You will have plenty of time to pick the desired venue, decide between the right vendors and still have plenty of free time during the middle of your engagement. If you have a short engagement the two planning steps are condensed into one. Wedding planning is tighter. Therefore it is best to spend your time in those things that your guests are more likely to notice (dress, entertainment food and décor)The first thing you must do when planning a wedding with these long and short engagement options in mind, is to discuss and decide with your fiancé about the ideal wedding month so that you can start planning for your wedding as soon as possible.

2. How much is your budget and who is helping you plan and pay the bills? Are you planning a wedding on a budget? One of the most important things you need to do when planning a wedding is to assemble a team of helpers. Make a list and assign each one its responsibility.-Your fiancé, ask him to honestly tell you how much he can help you with your wedding planning  and which tasks will he be willing to take on.-Your Parents and future in -laws. Chances are they will be willing to pitch in. So ask them if they would like to help with small details to plan a wedding and delegate.

3. How elaborate do you want the occasion to be?Wedding Planning is simple. When planning a wedding remember that your wedding day is meant to be your Big day and crowning glory, but you may have to rein in your expectations. If you happen to be one of the lucky few who can spare no expense, Congratulations.

But if you are a bit tight think realistic about what you can accomplish with your budget and time.Sit with your fiancé and take some time to talk about your mutual expectations and dreams for that special day. Planning a wedding implies writing a list of ideal wedding elements, and then rank them from most important to least. Make sure are both in the same path. You definitely don’t want to spend your entire engagement arguing. With all these schemes in mind you will learn how to plan for a wedding and have peace of mind that everything will come out to be just right. It always helps if possible within your budget to hire a wedding coordinator to help you with planning your wedding.
