Sick-Day Self-Care Routine When you are sick, it is easy to ignore your needs in today's fast pace society. The take an Advil and move on mindset can be harmful to our health, it is important not to ignore our body and the messages it sends us. When you are feeling under the weather, listen and give yourself permission to take care of yourself. Even if it means actually taking your lunch at work, napping, or taking some extra time to prepare a nourishing soup for dinner.
