• We do this by working with children, their families and the wider community, to help them achieve positive change in their own lives. For more than 60 years, we have stood for the rights of children, and helped millions of children to have the opportunity to contribute to their societies in a positive way

•Started in 1995. 2 types of Programs:•Implementation & technical support at field level with local government•Management at National level with national, regional and local implementation partners
•About 40 employees in Head Office in Xi’an and 110 in the field (split over 5 Program Units in Shaanxi). All 5 counties we work in are designated poverty counties•Expansion:
•Ningxia Program Unit•Community Training and Learning Center in Nanjing as well as Xi’an•Child Legal Support Network

The health of children of all ages is improved.
Children live in an environment with access to clean water, basic sanitation and good hygiene behaviour. Children receive quality education and care that enable them to realize their potentials.
Children, especially children in difficult situations, are supported and protected. Children live in families that provide sufficient support to their physical and educational development. Children and adults effectively participate in making decisions that affect their lives.The voices of children and communities are heard with linkages by the civil society.
