Due to its proximity to the port of Viana do Castelo and Vigo and it’s excellent access by land give us

The group Pipeworks, has workers that are highly qualified and totally devoted to is company.

The Team, consist of more then 150 professionals, Engineers, Designers, Project Managers, Supervisors,

boilermakers, pipe fitters, welders, who design, calculate, plan and execute the works assigned in the quality

required from our costumers.

Pipeworks performs annual training plan which aims to improve, continuously, skills at all levels of our

1. Automatic cutting line, shamfering, beveling and perforating pipes for grafts

2. Equipments and machinery for cutting, doubling and bending steel plates.3. Automatic pipe bending machines with bend radius 1.5, 2 and 3 times pipe diameter, up to 6” of the

following kind:

1 CHC 170 CNC able to bend pipes up to Ø 168.3x7.1mm. 1 CHC 100 CN2 able to bend pipes up to Ø 101.6x5.7mm. 1 CHC 35 CN1 able to bend pipes up to Ø 33.4x4.5mm. 1 MAH 80 CN1 able to bend pipes up to Ø 88.9x4.5mm.

4. Welding machines for the following processes:

Submerged Arc “SAW” Electrode “SMAW” Solid and tubular wire welding “MIG-MAG”, “GMAW”, “FCAW” Hand TIG welding

5. Welding, cutting and bending machinery and equipments for on site jobs

The CANNETO M, is a ship that transportschemicals built by the Naval Shipyard"Factorias Vulcano" Vigo - Spain, forAUGUSTA DUE.

Pipeworks, was the company chosen to

build modules to support the pipelines,prefabrication and assembly of pipes onthe platform.

This project required a team of 50 workersfor a period of 8 months.

The RN-Arkhangelsk was the first ship in the world to be classified Det Norske Veritas 1A1 ICE-1A * Tanker forChemicals and Oil ESP E0 F OPP-OCC-AW NAUT DEIC LCS-DC-2 CLEAN DAT VCS (-30 ° C) COAT-1 TMON NauticusPLUS-1. This ship was the first in a series of three built by the Shipyard "Factorias Vulcano" Vigo-Spain by AB ISLIMITED.

Pipeworks SL, was the company selected to build the engine room and cargo line on the main deck and theconstruction of modules of pipes for the three ships.

14 modules were manufactured and morethan 3500 spools for this project with anestimated value of 2.500.000.00€.

40 workers prefabrication of the Pipelines.

The RN Arkhangelsk was the first of a seriesof three ships built by the same ShipyardFactorias Vulcano, Vigo - Spain.

Pipeworks SL was the company that did thesame work in the other two ships.




After the prefabrication of the pipelinesmodules, a team of 35 workers assembledthese elements in the Shipyard.




In April of 2009, Pipeworks was the companyselected to repair and replace pipes of ballastand other platform services on the STENA TAYASTICAN Shipyard in the Canary Islands.

PIPEWORKS manufactures and repairs pressure vessels and boilers, approved by the SpanishMinistry of Industry No. 59 in the province of Pontevedra.

The manufacture of pressure vessels for refrigerants (Freon, Ammonia (NH3), CO2, salty water,Glycol), is made with special plates for low and high temperatures.Welds done with procedures approved submerged arc, MIG and TIG.

Tanks in carbon steel, galvanized and stainless steel, with exterior insulation and batteries.
