MLCP – MultiLayer Pipe & Fittings

BycombiningPE-RTandaluminium,anewtechnologicallyadvancedmaterialisformed, providing security and safety. Our Multitubo systems MLCP is designed forthespecificrequirementsofdrinkingwaterandheatinginstallations.The 5-layer structure combines the advantages of plastics and metal pipes. Onepolyethylene(PE)layerisappliedtotheinsideandonetotheoutsideoftheweldedaluminiumpipe.BothPElayersarepermanentlybondedtothealuminium pipe by means of an adhesive layer. The PE used is a non-cross-linked polyethyleneofraisedtemperatureresistanceaccordingtoDIN16833(PE-RT–polyethyleneofraisedtemperatureresistance).

MLCP’s ultra smooth inner-layer – lasting its whole lifetime – prevents the formation of deposits and corrosion. The aluminium layer prevents any oxygen ingress and is the basis for the unique pipe installation properties such as the ability to bend the pipe and have it retain the new shape.
