PIPE FABRICATION FACILITY
WHY WE’RE DIFFERENTSAFETY• Innovative safety programs and solutions leading to world-class
safety performance.
• Operating without a lost-time incident since 2006.
SCALABLE AND VERSATILE• PCL’s pipe spool and skid fabrication facility is equipped to
handle multiple jobs of any size. Whether it ’s a half-inch spool of a couple of feet or a 72-inch diameter spool for a full 140-foot module, our experts can handle it with the same precision and care.
QUALITY• We feature experience and qualifications in all industrial sectors
with certifications from the ASME, CWB, ABSA and other provincial jurisdictional authorities.
• We’ve developed over 600 registered welding procedures to work with carbon steel and various alloys such as stainless steels — including duplex, super duplex and precipitation hardenable martensitic stainless steels — and low alloy carbon steels — including chrome-moly steels, P91 and 4130.
• Industry-leading quality record with repair rates consistently below 1.5%.
• Semi-automated welding processes to perform work more productively at a higher quality.
INDUSTRY-LEADING PRODUCTIVITY• By combining our talented and experienced workforce, intuitive
production systems and lean manufacturing principles we are able to produce up to 15,000 diameter inches per week.
• We operate with a sophisticated material resource planning procedure that maximizes our welding efficiency in both the planning and building phases. By ensuring the right materials are on hand, we fabricate spools efficiently and provide them in the order required on site to keep your project on schedule.
