[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP INSIDE, MORNING]

(MORDECAI and RIGBY are playing the Broken Bones arcade machine, MORDECAI

at the joystick and RIGBY at the buttons, ranking up a new high score as they beat

the current level.)

MORDECAI & RIGBY: (Excited) Yeah-ha!

RIGBY: Man we never made it this far in the game before!

MORDECAI: With the amount of time we put into this game, the rad skills came

naturally. Honestly not surprised.

RIGBY: Stay focused! The next level is up now!

MORDECAI: Oh right!

(As the new level starts, the games graphics looks all glitched and busted, in thevein of Pacman level 256. Even with the bugs, the game still plays normally.)

MORDECAI: (Surprised) What the what? Dude, I think we broke the game!

RIGBY: No way man, I heard about this! This is the secret final level of Broken

Bones! The programmers didnt think anybody could get this far in the game, so theygot lazy and never bothered to finish the level. Were the first ones to get here!Were making history here, Mordecai!

(The game suddenly shuts off, with smoke emitting from the cabinet and variouscrackling and popping noises within the machine. These actions scare MORDECAI

and RIGBY a bit as they step back as the machine dies out.)

RIGBY: or maybe we broke the game.

[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP INSIDE, AFTERNOON]

(MORDECAI, RIGBY, CJ and MARGARET stands by as EILEEN examines the inside of

the Broken Bones cabinet, but when she comes out, she has a sad expression on her

face as she breaks the news to MORDECAI and RIGBY.)

EILEEN: (Solemnly) I dont know what I can do, guys. It seems like this machineprocessed its last pixel

RIGBY: (Panicked) No, no, NO! Theres gotta be a way to save them!

EILEEN: Well the parts are completely outdated, I dont know if theyre still inproduction anymore.

RIGBY: (Whiney) Noooooo! All the memories we had, the cool tricks we did, the

obscenities we typed in the leaderboards, all gone!

MORDECAI: Dont worry dude, we still got the arcade.

RIGBY: (Whiney) But the Coffee Shops closer!

EILEEN: Well as it stands, Broken Bones is forever broken. Sorry guys.

RIGBY: No, were not going out like this. Not for Broken Bones.

[SCENE: BEACH OUTDOORS, AFTERNOON]

(MORDECAI, RIGBY, CJ and MARGARET are all wearing funeral clothes while

EILEEN is dressed up as a pastor. The dead Broken Bones machine is on top of a

roughly made wooden boat close to the beachs shore. RIGBY is trying to hold backtears as MARGAET and CJ stands by somewhat confused.)

MARGARET: I never saw the guys get so emotional over an arcade game like this.

CJ: Yeah, this never happens when my game console breaks. My pop complains

about sinking $300 dollars into a faulty machine, but thats about it.

(RIGBY tearfully gives EILEEN a paper before running back crying. She begins to

read it. As she reads it there are various cuts of MORDECAI, CJ and MARGARET

paying their respects, as RIGBY ends up crying on top of the broken arcade machine

before pulling himself off of it.)

EILEEN: (Solemnly) We are here today to remember a close family member to the

Coffee Shop. Broken Bones. Even though there are many arcade machines like it, this

one in particular has been around ever since the Shop first opened its doors. But like

all machines in general, it wasnt meant tolast. We shall remember the game forwhat it gave us, with its quote unquote the sickest of tricks and the biggest of air.But for now, let its broken bones be sent out to sea.

(EILEEN nods her head to MORDECAI, as he pushes out the boat out to sea. The

waves carry out the broken arcade cabinet father away from the crew, but before it

got out of reach, RIGBY lights a match and throws it on top of the arcade cabinet as itburst into flames. The crew looks upon the sailing, flaming boat, as they all look

down and pay their final respects to Broken Bones.)

[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP INSIDE, NIGHT]

(The crew sits at one of the tables, with a Broken Bones Memorial sign hanging upnear by. MORDECAI and RIGBY sad about the death of Broken Bones while EILEEN,

MARGARET and CJ feel sad about what the boys went through. CJ looks around the

group as she decided to break the silence.)

CJ: I think I have a good idea about what can cheer you guys up!

RIGBY: A long nap?

CJ: No. I got a bunch of friends who run an old arcade shop out of town. Ill see if Ican work my magic on them and get good replacement game you guys might enjoy!

EILEEN: Are you sure well be able to do that with the budget we have?

CJ: Nothing a little friendly haggling cantdo.

RIGBY: But it wont be the same! I dont know if these broken bones will heal withanother arcade game

EILEEN: True, actual medical help is needed for that.

CJ: Well it doesnt have to be an arcadecabinet. In fact, I got the perfect kind of gameto get that you guys might have a blast with! Be right back!

(CJ walks off as she dials a phone number on her cell phone.)

RIGBY: Man, she better find a good replacement.

MORDECAI: Dude, CJ knows her gaming. Im sure shell pick a winner.

MARGARET: Yeah, considering how much better she is than Mordecai at them, Imsure shell get the Shop a good game.

MORDECAI: (Embarrassed) Did you have to bring that up?

MARGARET: (Coy) Im just stating the facts.

EILEEN: For the time being, I can set us up a good memorial meal if you guys want.

RIGBY: (Suddenly cheery) Ah sweet, Im feeling better already!

(EILEEN walks off to the closet to see if the shop has any extra plates for them. She

opens the door to do a quick scan, but then realize a big storm happening inside, as

CJ is arguing with someone over the phone, eyes red with anger.)

CJ: (Furious) ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH THIS? AFTER ALL IVE DONE FOR YOUDURING HIGH SCHOOL, YOURE GIVING ME THE COLD SHOULDER?YOU FREAKINGOWE-

(CJ stops as she notices EILEEN at the door, confused about whats happening. CJthen covers the phone speaker and gives her an embarrassed smile and tone down

the storm to grey thunderclouds.)

CJ: (Embarrassed) Oh, hi Eileen! Uh, this might take longer than I thought.

EILEEN: Ahokay. Umdo wehave any extra plates in here? Were having a partyand I want to be sure we got enough.

CJ: Oh, theyre over there at the corner.

(EILEEN walks over to the charred corner where one of CJs lightning strikes hit, andcarefully she picks up the box of extra plates and walks back to the door.)

EILEEN: Thanks, CJ! Hey, do you want me to set up a plate for you?

CJ: Oh, sure. Thanks! Um, do you mind if you can shut the door? I dont want todisrupt you guys withyou know, hehe.

(CJ points to the looming thunderclouds coming off her head.)

EILEEN: Gotcha, take all the time you need.

(EILEEN slowly shuts the door, though as she walks away, she hears a thunder

strike from the other side. EILEEN looks back worried then walks away from the

door.)

[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP INSIDE MORNING]

(MARGARET, EILEEN, MORDECAI and RIGBY are standing in front of a mysterious

object under a sheet, as CJ walks by the stand.)

CJ: Well after a lot of planning, various deals and ordering back up appliances for the

Shop after accidentally destroying them out of rage, (Embarrassed) sorry about that

Eileen

EILEEN: Its all good.

CJ: (Excited) I would like to present to you the Coffee Shops next big attraction!

(CJ pulls off the sheet as she reveals that shes gotten the Shop a new pinballmachine, titled PINBALL PAL.)

RIGBY: (Annoyed) A cruddy arcade machine?

CJ: (Defensive) Hey, pinball has a rich, cherished history! It can be fun!

MORDECAI: Whats with the creepy face though?

CJ: Oh that? I think thats because its supposed to be a talking pinball machine.

Telling cheesy jokes and such. Let me plug it in.

(CJ plugs the pinball machine into the socket, as it begins to shake and light up, with

cheesy comedy music playing in the background.)

PINBALL PAL: Hey yall! Its your old Pinball Pal here! Who wants to try mychallenges? Ho hoooo!

RIGBY: (Doubtful) Okay lets see what this dumb thing can do.

(RIGBY grunts as he try to slap the controls to play the game, but ends up slapping

the buttons too much and missing the pinball completely.)

PAL: (Sarcastically) Hey slaphappy, maybe try playing the game next time! Youll dobetter that way! Ho hooo!

(MORDECAI and CJ laugh while RIGBY gets annoyed.)

RIGBY: (Mad) But I WAS playing it! The stupid ball wouldnt stay still!

CJ: You cant really program the ball, Rigby. The challenge comes from the ball beingall loose and free. You gotta be more patient and plan your strategies more

accordingly.

(CJ hits the next ball and does a better try than RIGBYs as she catches the ball)

CJ: See, once you capture the ball with the paddles, it makes things easier! Just got to

hold it and wait for the right moment.

(CJ slides the ball towards the edge of the paddle)

CJ: (Excitedly) BOOM!

(CJ whacks the ball towards the bumper circle as it bounces off them, racking upmore and more points for CJ)

PAL: (Excitedly) Hey hey, nice going hot shot! But dont get so cocky!

RIGBY: (Whiney) Whatever, you just got lucky.

PAL: (Sarcastically) Shes not lucky. She just doesnt completely suck like you do! Hohoooo!

MORDECAI: Ooooooooh! Burned by a pinball machine!

RIGBY: (Angry) STOP TALKING!

(RIGBY then jumps onto PINBALL PAL and attacks it and gnawing it, leading to PAL

getting all messed up and malfunctioning for a moment.)

PINBALL PAL: (Monotone) TILT, TILT, TILT.

CJ: (Shocked) Woah, Rigby! Chill! This wasnt cheap to get you know! And I dontwant to send it back saying that it was broken by a sore loser trying to chew it out!

(RIGBY snarls at PINBALL PAL as he jump off and turns away from the machine.)

MORDECAI: Let me give it a shot.

(MORDECAI give the game his best shot, racking up some good points, though he

ended up losing in the end. He ends up putting his initials up anyway, as CAI.)

PINBALL PAL: Thats some fancy shooting, partner!

(PINBALL PALS score pops up MORDECAIs score.)

PINBALL PAL: But not good enough to get the number one spot! Ho Hooo!

(PINBALL PAL flashes the top score, which is owned by CJ.)

CJ: (Surprised) Oh wow, top score already? Guess my pinball skills are still pretty

stellar after all these years.

MORDECAI: Hahayeah

(MORDECAI feels a bit jealous for a moment, and then proceeds to play another

round.)

MARGARET: Youre playing another round?

MORDECAI: Oh. Well yeah. I was a bit rusty on my last turn. I feel like I got a good

grip on the game now.

(MORDECAI was able to rack up more points, but not enough to best CJ on his

second attempt.)

PINBALL PAL: So close, yet so far! Ho Hoooo!

MORDECAI: (Peeved) Aw come on!

CJ: Relax, Mords. You did well enough.

RIGBY: Yeah dude, you cant win everything.

MORDECAI: I was so close that turn. Let me try again.

(MORDECAI takes out a pile of quarters and continues to play the game, as

MARGARET, CJ, EILEEN and RIGBY watches.)

EILEEN: I guess you were right with the guys having fun on the new pinball game,

CJ.

CJ: I was hoping more of a casual sort of fun though. Not in a competitive way.

MORDECAI: Yo Rigby, you got any more quarters?

RIGBY: No way! These are my vending machine quarters!

MORDECAI: (Annoyed) Fine

[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP INSIDE, NIGHT]

(The Shop is near its closing hours as MORDECAI continues to play on the PINBALL

PAL. RIGBY and MARGARET stands by worried and annoyed about how much timeMORDECAI is putting into the game, while EILEEN and CJ prepares to close shop.)

PINBALL PAL: Wow, you filled every slot except for the top one! Thats anachievement all in itself! Ho Hoooo!

RIGBY: Cmon, Mordecai! We gottago back to the park! I dont want to end up beingyelled at by Benson alone!

MORDECAI: In a minute! I think the next one is my lucky game!

RIGBY: You said that about the last ten games!

MORDECAI: This time I mean it, I can feel it!

EILEEN: Well I dont know if thats going to be the case, we need to close for thenight.

MORDECAI: Then lock me in. When Im done I can lock up the Shop for you guys.Promise.

CJ: Youre sure about that? I mean its not like Benson is the only short-fused bossaround the city, you know.

MORDECAI: Im sure, Im sure! Just let me have this game.

CJ: (Sigh) Fine.

MARGARET: Youre seriously going to do this?

CJ: Im not going to stay here to watch Mordecai waste any more quarters. I gotta goback to my place and get some things done.

EILEEN: And I got a new collection of rocks to polish. I already feel bad enough for

not getting to them sooner.

MARGARET: Okay

(MARGARET looks over at MORDECAI worried, as he walks up to him while hes inhis pinball trance.)

MARGARET: Good night, Mordecai.

MORDECAI: Uh, what did you say?

MARGARET: (Sighs) Nothing.

(MARGARET sadly leaves the Coffee Shop, as EILEEN and CJ feels bad about what

shes going through with MORDECAI becoming more of a pinball addict. CJ thenshuts the door and lock it with MORDECAI inside. MORDECAI finished another

game, but still didnt beat CJs score. He reaches for more quarters, but realizes heused them all up already. Defeated, MORDECAI turns to walk away from PINBALL

PAL.)

PINBALL PAL: Hey chum! Let me make the next game free for ya!

MORDECAI: Huh, what?

PINBALL PAL: I like you got the makings of being a pinball champ! And thats nojoke!

MORDECAI: Really? I mean CJs honestly better than me.

PINBALL PAL: Ho Hooo! She aint got nothing on you, kid!You dont need your twogirlfriends and your small pal to keep restraining you!

MORDECAI: (Shocked) Huh, I dont have two girlfriends.

PINBALL PAL: Oh please! Youve have somany dating issues with the two of themthat its no wonder your name is being used as an anxiety trope! I mean really,Pulling a Mordecai?

MORDECAI: Wait, how did you know that?

PINBALL PAL: I can read you like an open book! But were pals, Mordecai! Probablythe best pal you ever need! I wont make fun of you because of that!

(PINBALL PAL suddenly reveals a stack of quarters from his table, from the change

people has been putting in him today.)

PINBALL PAL: Come on, buddy! Its on the house! Ho Hoooo!

(MORDECAI looks at the stack of quarters, conflicted about what to do. In a zombie-

like trance, he walks over to PINBALL PAL, grabs a handful of quarters and resumes

his pinball games.)

[TITLE CARD A WEEK LATER]

[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP INSIDE, AFTERNOON]

(RIGBY and MARGARET walk into the shop, thought stopping after smelling a putridsmell. They both gag for a moment before drawing their attention to MORDECAI,

whos playing with the PINBALL PAL still.)

RIGBY: (Peeved) Hes still playing that dumb pinball game?!

CJ: Yep. For 7 days now.

EILEEN: 7 days, 8 hours and 15 or 16 minutes. Been trying to keep count.

MARGARET: Wow.

RIGBY: (Annoyed) How?!

EILEEN: I dont know. I mean he never even moved out of that spot. No food breaks,no coffee breaks, nothing!

MARGARET: Not even bathroom breaks?

CJ: (Disgusted) Im not checking for that. You cant make me.

EILEEN: Either way, its concerning and its been driving business away from theShop.

RIGBY: Well it wasnt a walk in the park for me either! I had to do everything atwork since Mordecai has been away! Even all the slacker stuff! Its no fun to slackingoff by myself.

EILEEN: If you need a slacking partner, Rigby, I can help. Ive been practicing myslacker laugh too. Listen! (Does a Butthead-esqe laugh)

RIGBY: Its just not the same. You got the pacing down, though.

EILEEN: Thank you!

MARGARET: Well isnt there any way to get Mordecai out of this pinball trance?

RIGBY: (Agitated) Dont know and dont care. If hedrather be with his new friendsso be it!

CJ: Are you talking about the Pinball Pal or the flies buzzing around him?

RIGBY: Both!

MARGARET: Yeah just seeing him like this, its just unsettling. Look Im going to go.

RIGBY: Im coming too!

MARGERET: Um, Rigby, Im going back to my place and study for some reports. Ithought you hated that stuff because its boring?

RIGBY: Between that and being yelled at by Benson, I preferred to be bored.

(Yelling) Goodbye, Mordecai!

MORDECAI: Uhhh

RIGBY: Agh! I hate pinball! Stupid game stupid balls stupid raggle fraggle

(RIGBY storms off with MARGARET out of the shop, leaving CJ and EILEEN with a

brain dead MORDECAI and a manipulative PINBALL PAL.)

CJ: Okay, I had enough of this! We gotta save Mordecai!

EILEEN: How? We could get controlled by Pinball Pal too if we mess up!

CJ: Well I got him into this mess and I just dont want Pal to ruin any more lives. Wegot to do something!

EILEEN: So do you have a plan?

CJ: Kinda. Just follow my lead.

(MORDECAI continues to give PINBALL PAL his full attention, as CJ and EILEEN runs

towards the machine, yelling with a pry bar in CJs hand. CJ attempts to pullMORDECAI away from the pinball machine with the pry bar as EILEEN tries to

attack the pinball machine by kicking its legs and pulling its electric plug. PAL

suddenly goes back into tilt mode, but suddenly vibrates fast as it blast EILEEN and

CJ away, trapping them in a clear, pinball-like sphere together.)

PINBALL PAL: Hoo Hoooo! You think you fools can stop my reign? The seed is

already planted, and thanks to your gullible friend here, I can now set up my true

pinball utopia!

CJ: (Shocked) Wait what?!

PINBALL PAL: These mortals think that they can defeat all of my challenges,

measuring their worth in life by mere points! Well Ill make it easier to measuretheir lives worth by making the world my own pinball labyrinth!

(Suddenly the ground starts to shake as metal rods burst out of the floor, knocking

around the sphere jail CJ and EILEEN are trapped in. More contraptions start to

burst from the flooring, including giant pinball paddles and neon bumpers, slowly

turning the Coffee Shop into a life-sized pinball machine.)

PINBALL PAL: (Diabolical) Now those who dare stand against me can fully witness

my true power, as I lead them to their inevitable end! Soon the world will become

one big pinball table! As a wise man once said, this be my crib now! Hooo hooo

hooooooooo!

(PINBALL PALS eyes start to glow red as his goofy faceplate cracks apart, revealinghis more sinister form.)

[SCENE: CITY STREET OUTSIDE, NIGHT]

(MARGARET and RIGBY are walking down the street casually.)

MARGARET: It was really nice of you to offer help with my report. Though I dontknow if eating all of my snacks and taking naps on my couch counts as help.

RIGBY: Duh, dont you see? By doing that Im showing what happens when you dontwork hard, thus motivating you to work harder so you wont be like me! Its reversepsychology!

(MARGARET stares at RIGBY in silence, annoyed.)

RIGBY: It was the best I can do.

MARGARET: right.

(Suddenly the ground shakes, knocking MARGARET and RIGBY off their feet. They

then look up to see a casino-esqe landscape where the Coffee Shop used to be. They

then realize a looming, sinister face that somewhat resembles PINBALL PALs faceabove the structure.)

MARGARET: Woah, what is that place?

RIGBY: And wheres the Shop?!

MARGARET: (Gasp) CJ!

RIGBY: Eileen!

MARGARET & RIGBY: (Panicked) Mordecai!

(MARGARET and RIGBY run towards the new place, worried about their friends fateby the hands of PINBALL PAL.)

[SCENE: PINBALL PALACE INSIDE, NIGHT]

(RIGBY and MARGARET blazes through the entrance to the new place, as they slow

down to witness what the Coffee Shop has become. Around the area are life-sized

pinball pieces, illuminating the area with colorful neon lights. Along the upper level

are long rails with big pinball balls traveling through them. RIGBY and MARGARET

are awestruck about the sudden changes.)

RIGBY: Woah

MARGARET: Wow, what happen when we were gone?

RIGBY: Its beautiful and freaking scary at the same time

(Suddenly, the two of them notices a giant pinball rolling towards them. RIGBY and

MARGARET both split up as they dash away from the ball, as it rolls off towards the

side. As the ball rolls off screen, MARGARET notices a jail area near the sides, with CJ

and EILEEN residing in one of the cells.)

MARGARET: (Gasp) CJ! Eileen!

(MARGARET runs towards the jail cell, with RIGBY right behind, as they come closer

to the girls.)

EILEEN: (Surprised) Margaret? What are you doing here?

MARGARET: (Nonchalantly) Well me and Rigby were strolling downtown and

noticed that (more stressed out) the Coffee Shop was torn down and replaced by

this death trap! How did this happen?

EILEEN: The Pinball Pal went mad with power, with Mordecai brainwashed into

helping him. Now hes been developing the pinball table to take over the whole townand trapping people into his twisted game!

CJ: (Annoyed) And my supposed high school friends never gave me a heads upabout this.

RIGBY: (Shocked) Pinball Pal took over Mordecai? I knew that pinball game was bad

news! Making him a mindless slave!

EILEEN: Though you guys always play video games mindlessly.

RIGBY: Well at least none of them were evil and wanted to control our bodies to do

stuff like this! Where is he anyway?

EILEEN: Way up there.

(EILEEN points up towards a high tower, where PINBALL PALs new evil face looksover his pinball utopia. The camera zooms in close as MORDECAI hovers within a

glass tomb, with power plugs snapped on him.)

RIGBY: Thats it! This pinball jerks going down!

(RIGBY scurries off towards the Pinball Pal tower in attempts to save Mordecai.)

EILEEN: Rigby wait!

CJ: You have no idea who youre messing with, dude!

RIGBY: Oh yeah, well he might be big and menacing, but Im short, fast andannoying! What can he do to stop me?

(As RIGBY says that, a hole emerges underneath him, as he falls into the dark abyss,

screaming. A clear pinball pops out of the same whole, with Rigby trapped in it.)

RIGBY: (Annoyed) Oh, thats how.

(The ball then rolls down the area, with RIGBY screaming along the way. A giant

paddle then emerges, whacking RIGBY towards the various obstacles ahead.

PINBALL PALs menacing laughs then echothroughout the palace.)

PINBALL PAL: (Menacingly) Fools! All of you! Though you, Rigby, is the biggest fool

of them all! Thinking your small stature can defeat me! Perhaps you dont knowwhat Im capable of! Allow me to show you, with some help! Bird brain, show himthe way!

(MORDECAI eyes then glow, as he proceeds to move his arms from side to side, like

pinball paddles. Set to The Whos Pinball Wizard, RIGBY is then preceded to theever-growing pinball maze. Various paddles whack him around the arena, synced to

MORDECAIs arm movements. RIGBY then get himself trapped among a series of

bumpers, knocking him around violently, making him dizzy. The pinball zooms outof the bumper cluster and into a giant tube, as it twirls around the various towers

and odd decorations erected along the palace. RIGBY then reach towards a big

canon, shooting him out and towards a giant pachinko machine. RIGBY tumbles

along the obstacles into a big 100 point hole near the end. The pinball then rolls out

of the pachinko area, taking RIGBY towards a new slew of bumpers and paddles. The

camera then pans up to PINBALL PAL, as he ranks up the points RIGBYs beengetting with MORDECAIs help, leading to MORDECAI getting the new top spot atlast.)

PINBALL PAL: Ho Ho Hooo! See what I mean, bird brain? I told you that you got the

chops to make it to the top of the leaderboard! And with your old friends as myprisoners, Ill be sure that theyll benefit the both of us! Ho ho ho hooooooooooo!

RIGBY: (Screams) AHHHHHH! Stop the world, I want to get off!

(RIGBY zooms pass the pinball jail, showing the cell CJ and EILEEN were in empty.

The two of them and MARGARET then pops out behind the jail walls, worried about

MORDECAI and RIGBYs predicament.)

MARGARET: Okay, this has been going on long enough. We got to save them!

EILEEN: How? Even though we escaped through a poorly spaced jail gate, Pal couldknock us back in there, or worse!

CJ: Well if he has a poor jailing system, theres probably another weakness of his.

(The girls look up at the menacing PAL, as a pinball suddenly flies off the ramp and

ram into PALs tower, having him malfunction like he did when he was a regularpinball machine.)

PINBALL PAL: (Peeved) Hey hey hey! Watch it, bub! I dont want anybody messingup my good looks here.

(PAL notices the ramp, as its bent slightly that lead to the ball flying off and hitting

him. PAL ponders about the status of the ramp carefully.)

PINBALL PAL: Hmmma ramp bent out of shape. This will not do. Perhaps I cantake it down and put in a giant mechanical ape that could block off pinballs. That

might spice up the place a bit.

(PAL then orders MORDECAI to swing his arms towards the broken ramp, as he

flings his arms up, tearing the ramp away from its place. The girls notice this and

figures out something that can help them out.)

EILEEN: Wow, surprised that the tilt issue is still there even after this menacing

transformation.

MARGARET: (Determined) Which gives us a perfect leeway to save the guys!

CJ: But how are we going to vandalize the place? Get ourselves trapped in those

pinballs?

MARGARET: No need, we already got help with that.

(The pinball carrying RIGBY then passes the girls, as they follow behind him

carefully. The girls then walk behind one of the paddles, noticing that MORDECAI is

occupied with the other pinball prisoners to recognize RIGBY. CJ then attempts topush the paddle up, with EILEEN and MARGARET backing her up, capturing RIGBYspinball as he tries to regain his balance after being knocked around for so long.)

RIGBY: (Dazed) Ughbut I dont want to go to school today, Mr. Benson might giveme a pop quiz on Benjamin FranklinI need more study time

EILEEN: Rigby, can you hear me?

RIGBY: (Dazed) Eileen? You have a lovely hairband on

EILEEN: (Confused) Uhthanks? Listen, are you stillconscious?

RIGBY: Uhh(shakes out of it) Yeah, kinda.

MARGARET: We need your help with saving Mordecai, we got a plan!

RIGBY: So you guys know how to take Pal down?

CJ: Yep! But we need you to stay in that pinball for it to work.

RIGBY: What? No way! I want to be able to keep my lunch in me!

EILEEN: (Concerned) Cmon Rigby! We need you there for this plan!

CJ: We can give you free lunch at the Shop for the next week or so!

RIGBY: (Pondering) Hmmmjust lunch?

CJ: Ughfree lunch and the desert of your choice?

RIGBY: Deal! So whats the plan?

MARGARET: Well despite Pals new form, hes still as fragile as a pinball machine. Sowere going to vandalize the place so that we can aim you towards Pal and knock

some sense into him!

RIGBY: Ah, thats my kind of plan! But wait, arent pinballs hard to control?

CJ: Yeah, but with old pinball machines, they didnt have people in the balls.

EILEEN: With you in there, if you are able to keep your balance, you might be able to

control the balls!

RIGBY: (Snickers) Control the ballshehehe

EILEEN: (Annoyed) You know what I mean!

MARGARET: So can you help us?

(RIGBY then attempts to stand up, gaining his ground and looking around the ball

prison hes in. With a determined smile, he then goes on all foursand prepareshimself for the plan.)

RIGBY: (Determined) Leave it to me! Let her rip!

(MARGARET and EILEEN then run off, as CJ lets go of the paddle, flinging RIGBY

towards the approaching obstacles. Unlike the last time, RIGBY is running along therolling ball, keeping him in place as he rolls along the palace. As he gets closer to the

big bumpers ahead, he then lean his body to the left, with the pinball following suit.

He was then able to dodge the bumpers entirely, pleasing RIGBY.)

RIGBY: Ha ha! In your face, stupid bumpers!

(With his new control, RIGBY then guides the pinball all around the palace, dodging

all sorts of obstacles and getting closer to the PINBALL PAL tower. PAL notices

RIGBY rolling towards him, surprising him.)

PINBALL PAL: Oh, ready for round two? Bird brain! You know what to do!

(MORDECAI eyes glow once more, as he positions his arms for the new pinball

game. As new paddles emerges ahead of RIGBY, MARGARET then comes down from

above with a part of a rail tube, slamming it towards the ground. RIGBY then rolls up

the rail tube, shocking PAL. And pleasing MARGARET.)

MARGARET: Go Rigby!

PAL: Oh, thats how you want to play, huh?

(PAL then makes his eyes glow like MORDECAI as the both of them focus on the rail

RIGBY is riding along. The rail suddenly shakes violently, throwing RIGBY off, buttowards PAL as it knocks him hard leading to a short malfunction.)

PINBALL PAL: Owow! Not cool, dude! You made me loss track here!

RIGBY: Well duh!

(RIGBY then bounces back down to the game floors, as he tries to do a 180 degree

roll around to aim back towards PAL. CJ then runs across the game floor, trying to

get PALs attention.)

CJ: Hey you big tinker toy! Over here!

PINBALL PAL: What? How did you escape your cell?

CJ: Because you suck at running a prison system?

PINBALL PAL: You will pay for that, mere fluff!

(PINBALL PAL and MORDECAIs eye glows once more, as he raises his hand andspreads them out, like hes widening a hole. Suddenly a hole appears on the floor,but CJ jumps away from it, avoiding the fall. Annoyed, PAL then opens up more holes

around CJ, though she dodges them all, laughing along the way. PAL then creates somany holes, that it starts to suck in the pinball obstacles instead, including a pole

that was holding up a platform. The platform then topples over, leading to RIGBY

rolling up it and flying off the edge, ramming into PAL once more. PAL malfunction

was longer this time, causing him to get more confused and angry.)

PINBALL PAL: (Furious) My zingers! You made me lose my zingers! You, you!

Whatever your name is! Raagh!

(PAL glows red with anger, as his shocks cause pain to MORDECAI, as his eyes start

to glow red. MORDECAI starts to fling his arm all over the place, causing a new

series of challenges to appear on the game floor. RIGBY begins to get worried, but he

stay focused on the task at hand. PAL on the other hand, has gone mad, as his

challenges start to clash into each other, causing them to break apart and flingtowards RIGBY, RIGBY screams as he tries to avoid the broken obstacle clusters,

until a flying bumper ramps into RIGBY, causing him to fly back. PAL laughs at

RIGBYs misfortune, as he starts to lose control of the pinball as its flung into a trashpile behind him. RIGBY tries to regain his control and try to roll the ball once more,

until the ball starts to move on its own. Confused, RIGBY tries to keep up with the

ball, not knowing whats going on. He looks up and notices EILEEN running on top ofthe ball, rolling for RIGBY.)

EILEEN: Dont worry Rigby! I got your back!

RIGBY: (Happy) Eileen!

(RIGBY is glad to see EILEEN, until he realizes that where he is in the ball, hesactually looking up EILEENs Coffee Shop skirt. RIGBY suddenly becomes flusteredand tries to cover his eyes to respect EILEEN better.)

RIGBY: (Embarrassed) Oh my god, sorry! I didnt know you were up there. I didntsee anything under your skirt, promise! Woah!

(Trying to close his eyes, RIGBY then loses sight with his pinball control, causing the

ball to roll all over the place and almost having EILEEN lose her balance on top of it)

EILEEN: (Worried) Rigby, its okay! Really! Just open your eyes and focus on whereyou are going!

RIGBY: All right!

(RIGBY opens his eyes and focuses straight ahead, regaining pinball control as he

and EILEEN sync up their running cycle.)

EILEEN: The girls set up the path for the finishing blow and I want to be sure you

follow my directions exactly! Got it?

RIGBY: (Determined) Got it!

(Both EILEEN and RIGBY rolls around the game floor around the disastrous

obstacles around it, following EILEENs directions carefully as MARGARET and CJhas built a pathway with the broken pieces to help them get to PAL.)

EILEEN: All right, go left! Now go right! Take another left, but a hard one! Now take a

short nudge to the right but swing hard to the left! Now get between the two broken

bumpers and go straight!

(PAL gets furious that EILEEN and RIGBY has been avoiding his traps, as the ground

shakes more violently as they get closer to him.)

RIGBY: (Concerned) Uhh..is there a shortcut we can take instead?

EILEEN: (Determined) Just trust me on this, were almost there! Just go up that rampahead!

(MARGARET and CJ stand by a custom ramp they made as they cheer RIGBY and

EILEEN on their path. Though because of how rough they made it, the pathway has

become rougher, making it hard for RIGBY to keep balance in the ball and harder for

EILEEN to stay balanced on top of it.)

EILEEN: Woah! Okay Rigby, its all up to you. Just follow the path we made and youare good to go!

RIGBY: Gotcha! Thanks Eileen!

EILEEN: No problem, just save Mordecai!

(EILEEN then jumps off the ball as RIGBY rolls along the rough path the girls made

with the various pinball pieces. PAL shakes the ground more violently as the

pathway begins to break apart slowly, concerning RIGBY. Even with the stakes

ahead, RIGBY moves forward, as he notices a series of buried bumpers near the edgeof the pathway. Upon contact, RIGBY is then flung into the air, as the pinball flies

towards the area PAL has trapped MORDECAI. Panicked, PAL begins to use

MORDECAI to fling apart various parts at RIGBY, but missing every slot. As RIGBY

gets closer to PAL, he focuses on MORDECAI, seeing how much PAL has messed him

up.)

RIGBY: (Yelling) Ill save you Mordecaaaaiiiiii!

PINBALL PAL: (Angry) Noooooooooo faaaaaaiiiiiirrrrrr!

(Upon impact, RIGBYs pinball smashes through the glass tomb MORDECAI is in,smacking him out of PALs cords. MORDECAI and RIGBY are slammed acrossPINBALL PALs insides with the pinball, causing PAL to break apart. Screaming inagony, PAL suddenly malfunctions violently, causing the palace to crumble to pieces

and engulfed by the billowing dust cloud forming below.)

PINBALL PAL: TILT TILT TIIILLLTtiillllttiiiillillllllll

(PALs cry starts to die out, as the dust settles down. As the pinball palace is torndown, the Coffee SHhop is reverted back to its old self. The girls then emerge from

the cloud, coughing. As the dust clears, they try to find out where MORDECAI and

RIGBY are after PINBALL PALs destruction.)

MARGARET: (Worried) Rigby? Mordecai? Guys?

CJ: Yo! Over here!

(CJ points to a broken pinball shell near where PINBALL PAL used to be at the shop,

as RIGBY and MORDECAI are lying down, unconscious. As the girls run up to the

guys, RIGBY starts to wake up.)

RIGBY: (Dazed) Ughdid we win?

EILEEN: You sure did. And you got the high score on the Saving Mordecai arcade

game, congrats!

(EILEEN gives RIGBY a hug.)

RIGBY: Cool! Hehehe.

CJ: Lets hold the celebrations. We gotta see if Mordecai is alright.

(RIGBY, MARGARET, CJ and EILEEN looks at MORDECAI, as he slowly regains his

conscious once more. The crew suddenly grows happy to see him olay, but stop and

realized that he havent bathed for a week. They stand back from MORDECAI as he

stands up, rubbing the back of his head.)

MARGARET: (Worried) Mordecai, are you feeling fine? Do you remember us again?

MORDECAI: UghMargaret? Rigby? What happened?

(RIGBY runs up to MORDECAI and hugs him tightly after seeing him actually

remember whom he is.)

RIGBY: (Happy) Finally! Im glad that stupid pinball phase is over!

MARGARET: Yeah Im glad youre back to your normal self, Mordecai. But youseriously need to take a bath.

(MORDECAI sniffs himself and then gag by the putrid smells hes emitting)

MORDECAI: Oh god, ugh!

CJ: If I can put my two cents in, youre better off washing yourself for the next 24hours if you want to smell better again.

MORDECAI: Ill keep that in mind.

RIGBY: Also stay away from any pinball machines for a while. If you come close toone, Ill break it apart before you even play it!

CJ: Thats a bit overkill, dude.

EILEEN: I know you pushed this idea away, but the option to simply buy a new

arcade cabinet for the shop is still on the table if you want to do it.

RIGBY: Hmm Do you think I can pick the game?

EILEEN: Well okay. Its only fair.

[TITLE CARD: THE NEXT DAY]

[SCENE: COFFEE SHOP OUT, AFTERNOON]

(MORDECAI, RIGBY, MARGARET, EILEEN and CJ stand across the street from the

Coffee Shop, which is set ablaze by 8-bit flames, as various 8-bit creatures are

battling on the establishment itself.)

EILEEN: (Embarrassed) So whos up for settling with a simple deck of playing cardsfor now on?

(MORDECAI, RIGBY, MARGARET and CJ all raise their hands.)
