1 What's New in Version 9.6 1. Manual MOS Test (PESQ & POLQA) is supported.
2. Video Stream Non-Reference (VSNR) algorithm is added for video streaming quality
measurement.
3. Force runctions are supported for WCDMA and LTE on Qualcomm chipset based
terminals
4. Data in the .ddib format can be partitioned.
5. Report Task Monitor function is added to check the progress and completion of each
statistics report task.
6. Render the background in grey to highlight the test in the Map window.
7. TCP/IP sniffer is supported during PBM service test.
8. Parameters are categorized based on QoS Class Identifier (QCI).
9. Project wizard function is added for easy configuration.

2 Introduction Pilot Pioneer is a leading indoor and outdoor multi-technology laptop-based diagnostic tool, for
radio network quality and services performance measurements. Based on the Windows operating
system, Pilot Pioneer is a user-friendly solution that can be used throughout network development
lifecycle, therefore allowing system vendors and network operators to benefit from their
investment.
