To be a pilot you need to have above average mathematics' skills and physical science skills so you could got to….

Major- Geometrical Mathematics

Minor- Physical Science.

You will need to take many different types of mathematical class other than geometrical, like Calculus101 and 102. Also one will need to take a couple of different physical science classes.

If you are looking for a more direct and possible quicker way to become a pilot you could join the military. The military is a great way to become a pilot quickly, and most people take this route.

• Delta Airline Pilot, Air Force Captain at Langley Air Force base Virginia, Dare County Regional Airport.

• From 8am-1pm, though still getting information from Air Force Pilot.• Payments range depending on the person. Either a salary based (Air

Force Pilot) or hourly bases (Delta, Dare County regional Airport workers). Air Force pilots makes around $50-$150 thousand a year depending on rank. Delta pilots makes around $80-$100 thousand a year, but pay is depended on the size of the plane one flies, and how long one has been working for delta.

• For the Air Force Captain, his hours range from 8-12 hours a day (When not at overseas or on high alert), it all depends on when his debriefing is done and when his after flight discussion is done. For the Delta pilot his hours range depending on the flight is he doing, though his hours is usually 80 hours a month. Dare County Regional is about an 8-12 hour shift.

• Each has their own little niches that they have do to their job but a couple in common is good communication skills, clear speaking, and able to reaction calmly to difficult situations.

• Alternate fuel to fossil fuels

• Train more to become mental tough and be prepared for hazards in the air.
