Pikes Peak Council Sponsorship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Pikes Peak Council Sponsorship Program. Your financial leadership will positively affect thousands of

youth and families throughout the year.

Youth BenefitsThe Pikes Peak Council Sponsorship Program provides a financial foundation for young people to build character, learn responsibilities of participating citizenship and develop personal fitness. For over a century, the Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over 100 years of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible and productive society. When youth are involved in Scouting, they do not have as much idle time to explore drugs, alcohol or find themselves in as many peer-pressure activities.

Scouting Provides Critical Elements for Healthy Youth Development Developing strong personal values and character Learning a positive sense of self-worth and usefulness Creating caring and nurturing relationships with parents, other adults and peers Facilitating a desire to learn Providing a productive/creative use of time Teaching social adeptness

THANK YOU! With your investment, the Pikes Peak Council will be able to deliver the highest quality programs and services to fulfill the promise and adventure of Scouting.

The Friends of Scouting Breakfast is the Pikes Peak Council’s largest fund-raising event held every year in March. Table Hosts invite co-workers, business partners, community leaders, friends, and Scouting enthusiasts to attend the Breakfast and find out ‘what’s happening’ in the world of Scouting. The annual Breakfast is attended by more than 550 people and has historically taken place at the Antlers Hilton in downtown Colorado Springs. Corporate Sponsorships are available that include a complimentary table, recognition from the podium, and advertisement in the program. The Friends of Scouting Breakfast is open to any individual who wants to make an investment to support local Scouting.

Eagle Scout and Silver Award Recognition Dinner

The newest class of Eagle Scouts and Silver Award recipients are recognized and honored for achieving Scouting’s highest rank for Boy Scouts and Venturing at the annual Eagle Scout and Silver Award Recognition Dinner. This event is held in the spring and recognizes recent Eagle Scouts and Silver Award recipients (and their families) for their significant achievement in Scouting. Only 4% of Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle and this formal dinner celebrates this noteworthy accomplishment. New Eagle Scouts and Silver Award recipients are hosted at the dinner through Corporate Sponsorships and everyone including sponsors, Eagle and Scout alumni, supporters, family and friends are invited to attend. The famous Eagle from Hawkquest is on site to provide fantastic photos of new Eagle Scouts with a live Eagle.
