5. Pull frame flush against walls of storm drain to ensure a tight seal.

NOTE: To “lock” frame in place at your desired size, locate the point where the rod and tube meet inside the fabric. (Simply feel through the fabric with your fingers.) Pinch the fabric tightly around the rod and push together until the fabric catches and “tucks” into the tube. Perform this step on all four corners to ensure maximum support under heavy loads.

3. Expand or collapse frame to fit intended storm drain size.

6. Drop filter bag replacement into basket, making sure the gray ring is supported by the basket’s ledge; then replace drain grate.

4. Place Filtration Insert System directly on grate lip inside of storm drain.

7. For maximum visibility and to keep system securely in place, ensure green straps are not caught beneath storm drain grate.

2. Remove drain grate and clean any existing sediment off grate lip inside of storm drain.
