The Koger Center for the Arts at the University of South Carolina School of Musicbrings exceptional art to community audiences by presenting transformationalexperiences that enlighten, educate, entertain, and inspire while fostering theeconomic vitality of South Carolina. For over 30 years, acclaimed national andinternational audiences have called the Koger Center stage home, and the centerprides itself on presenting accessible, premier entertainment to audiences throughoutthe Midlands. In 2019, the Koger Center for the Arts partnered with ColaJazz topresent "Live in the Lobby Jazz," a series inviting patrons to the dynamic expanse ofthe Koger Center lobby to interact and share in the enjoyment of jazz in anapproachable, intimate, and immersive setting. The series will be back by populardemand in 2021 featuring a season of high-profile local and national jazz stars!

ColaJazz is the driving beat in jazz for the South Carolina Midlands! The ColaJazzfoundation is dedicated to grow, support, and promote jazz through events, education,recordings, resources, and advocacy to create a thriving, culturally rich community.Since 2014, ColaJazz has worked tirelessly to establish and solidify Columbia, SouthCarolina as a world-class jazz destination, and ColaJazz provides access to renownedmusicians, supports local artists, and invests in the future of the genre while ensuringthat jazz continues to have a home in the Midlands. As an integral component of theorganization's vibrant annual season, the ColaJazz Festival brings revered Grammy-award winners, internationally-known artists, and celebrated local talent to audienceseach year to support the capital city as a thriving cultural destination. This spring, theColaJazz Festival will return with a star-studded line-up on Saturday, May 1st for anunprecedented weekend of jazz excellence culminating in the Jazz at Lincoln CenterOrchestra Septet performance on Sunday, May 2nd.
