Pic-N-Place Case Packer
The Standard-Knapp Pic-N-PlaceCase Packer offers field-proven reliabilityand is the perfect solution for both partitioned andpartitionless case packing. The Pic-N-Place uses adjustable, heavy-duty grippers to pick up and gently place an entire pack of product completelyinto the bottom of every case. This proprietary technology eliminates breakage and iscapable of speeds up to 30 cycles per minute. Standard Knapp’s case packer also offers tandem case capability and packs to the last case without the need for any operator intervention.
The Pic-N-Place Case Packer – The robust solution for gentle product handling.
The product and emptycase enter the machinevia customer conveyors.The case is positioned
on the lift table.
As the lift table raises the empty case, the productis moved smoothly from the infeed and inserted
completely into the bottom of the case.
The overhead gripperassembly grabs the
product from the infeed.
The product infeed bottlestop holds the product
in place for preciseoverhead gripping.
The gripper head returns to the productinfeed, ready to grab the next group ofproduct as the full case is discharged. Then a new case moves onto the table.
Robust 2-axis servo-controlled delta robot providesoptimum control of the entire pack of product.
Adjustable head adapts to multiple product sizes.
Open concept design eliminates need for ridingstrips. See-through guarding allows for easysystem assessments. Easy-access lubrication andinspection points make maintenance a breeze.
Simple, color-coded, by-the-numbers changeover.
