Facts
Challenges– get away from all the paperwork (no more binders)– provide an all-in-one solution without having multiple applications running on the same
terminal– create customer template for pilote plant -> rollout to other plants if successful, each plant
has its own specifics

– The presented solution delivers ready-made connectivity to SAP ERP, nearly every RDBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, …) and many other systems which reduces significantly the development time during implementation and for future developments. So data can be easily extracted from various systems and can be prepared for further user‘s needs.
– MII enables the factory management team to respond quickly to changes in real time by providing a high-level SOA style configuration (business work flow).
– In addition, it fulfills the common MES standard ISA S95, which is one of the most important arguments. So a clear hierarchy of PLC, MES and ERP can be realized.
– Applications can easily be developed as templates for a rollout in other sites.– No discussion about responsibility in the overall solution because the affected systems are
delivered by one supplier (SAP).– All screens can be customized in design and functionality to meet the customers
requirements.
Facts
 Why Atos?
– Atos already has experience and has done several implementations (MCE AG, Berndorf Band, Agrana, RHI, Siemens Transformers Austria, Wiener Linien, …). So more than once the feasibility of such projects has been proved.
How was the Roll out conducted?
– The Shopfloor system is coming with a multi-plant concept. To introduce the SFS to another plant, only very little setup time is required. Also, for managers,
