War Eagle Bros,

We’ve had another busy, service-filled fall semester, and we are

looking forward to the upcoming spring semester. Throughout the

past semester, brothers have participated in several activities

within our community to promote the Auburn University Bands and

collegiate bands in general including a pep rally at a nursing home,

playing with high schools’ bands in the stands at their football

games, a small ensemble concert at a nursing home and a small pep

rally at the Auburn Early Learning Center. In the upcoming spring

semester, we will be hosting the 3rd Annual Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on

March 3, 2012. Also on the docket for next semester is the

District Leadership Conference, which will be hosted by the Pi

Chapter and the Theta Lambda Chapter (TBS) on February 18,

2012. More information will be sent out about the Live.Laugh.Run.

5K in the coming months. If you have any questions, please feel

free to contact us. We’d love to hear from you.

Fundraisers

A Party for Pi Dr. Spurlin and Dr. Good held a dinner

to recognize the chapter for winning

the Willliam Scroggs trophy at Nation-

als in July. Dr. Travis Cross, the Na-

tional Vice President for Professional

Relations, formally awarded Pi with the

trophy at the dinner and joined us for

fun and fellowship.

The Boh-B-Q

This year after the

Homecoming game against

Samford, Pi hosted some of our

alumni at the band field for

a reunion where we enjoyed

some good barbecue and got

to know our fellow Pi brothers.

Social Activities

This semester, Pi has taken part in a variety

of social activities including a study break

game night, pumpkin carvings and the annual

Halloween social for the band with our TBS

sisters in the Theta Lambda chapter.

Spring Calendar

This fall, Pi held fundraisers at

Marble Slab Creamery and Five

Guys Burgers and Fries

to help raise money

for the Sarah

Anderson
