This solution therefore had to be secure, and increase efficiency. Pi Biometrics decided to automate

their workforce management. Leveraging on our biometric experience, we provided a fingerprint

time and attendance system. Knowing fully well that LASTMA faced challenges with identity theft,

fingerprint technology gave perfect platform to solve both identity issues and workforce

management. The workforce management system consists of the fingerprint hardware, software for

payroll integration, fingerprint staff verification, attendance profile and reporting.

We supplied, installed, implemented, trained the authorised users of the system and are currently

maintain the system under the 2 year warranty we give our clients. This is because of the

exceptional quality we provide in products and services

With more than 3000 officers under the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA),

managing the workforce became a daunting task for their human resources. Current solutions at

the time, were manual and this led to operations within the workforce cumbersome. Faced with

several cases of illegitimate workers posing on the streets of Lagos as traffic officers, the

management at LASTMA decided to seek a solution that will solve their identity problems as well

as their workforce management.
