Italy, Europe and many States around the world have centred their energy strategies around an ambitious growth of renewable power generation. Photovoltaic is to play a key role. It is a modular tech- nology that adapts to the needs of both small and big operators and that can be put into service of the vari- ous industries. To live up to the expectations, photovoltaic will have to evolve and strengthen itself: business models de- fined by the offering of new services for the electric market thanks to digitalization and storage, empower- ing of existing plants, construction of new plants in grid-parity, internationalization. These topics will be the focuses of the speeches and the roundtable debate by institutions, operators and sector experts.
