FEATURESn A two layer construction of flame retardant, oil andsunlight resistant Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) overan Ethylene-Propylene Rubber (EPR) inner layer. Thisdesign is based on a construction allowed for use onungrounded systems as described in NEC Article 690 without the need for conduit when installed exposed.

APPLICATIONSNexans AmerCable’s Type TC multiconductor cable combines the requirements for large solar farms and ofthe National Electrical Code (NEC) Article 690 into onecable. The overall jacketed cable is permitted to beinstalled in cable trays, wireways, troughs, etc. that arecommon while providing individual conductors that aresunlight resistant and meet the requirements of Type PVwires. Applications include cable routings from modulestrings to collector boxes and other required routings inBalance of System (BoS) integration and where alsoallowed by the NEC.
