TRANSCRIPT
Photovoice Masterclass(Online)
Photovoice is a participatory research method that allows participants to
express themselves and reflect on the issues of concern to them through the use
of photography and storytelling. Photovoice can be used for a wide range of
purposes including: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), advocacy, research and
community-based projects.
The Masterclass is recommended for those who have already attended the basic
photovoice training. If you wish to deepen your understanding of photovoice, to
touch up the basics of photography, to learn to read photographs and
implement your own photovoice project; then this workshop is for you.
This online training provides you with the skills and theoretical knowledge you
need to start implementing your own photovoice project. The principle of this
workshop is learning by doing. Participants will learn and experience how to
design, implement and facilitate a photovoice project by facilitating (parts of) the
photovoice process.
