Project Description: The purpose of this project is to be able to plan an original UK-based media product. Photographer: The photographer is going to be myself. The type of shot types that I am going to shoot is medium close up’s and long shots. The purpose of this is to portray the artist identity of the way he presents himself as an artist and be able to see through their personality. The use of lighting I will be using is high to suggest an upbeat mood. Reference images and ideas:

The denotation behind ‘Tune iN’ is that I want my target audience to have that feeling where they feel nostalgic of the good ol’ days such as featuring the legend of music, for example, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston etc. I want them to also feel that those legends will never be forgotten nor overlooked. The strapline will support this as the strapline will be ‘Tune in & rewind’ which what the magazine is all about

I have specifically chosen medium close up’s for my magazine as it illustrates enough detail of the artist such as their facial expression and body language.

Casting:

I have chosen this person because he looks like the artist that is featured for the first issue of my magazine. Moreover, the way this character dresses is similar to the artist. Lastly, I can see that this person enjoys listening to music, likes to have fun and just enjoy teenage life.

Model requirements:

I have specifically chosen long shot as it reveals more of the portrayal of the artist within their body language; also the location of where it is shot.

The height that I am going to expect will be somewhere between 5’5 and 5’8. Wardrobe and Look:

I have chosen these photos precisely as the artist wear these types of casual clothing such as plain t-shirt, jeans and timberlands or other branded shoes. The artist may also wear chains, watches or bracelets to portray their lifestyle. Hair and Makeup: The type of hair I will give the artist will be just a casual work and no makeup included. Where: The shoot will take place in the school where the background is a massive see-through glass. As the background will not be suitable to my magazine, I will do my further research to find a background and replace the original one. The purpose of this so that the photo fit its purpose. When: Date: Friday 14th November 2014 and Saturday 16th November 2014 Day: Morning/Lunch
