The photo’s above show us setting up our camera equipment and filming some of the shots for our music video. And this was the first set of the day where we went to film. When we first got here it was around four o’clock in the afternoon and at this point we had a good chance of getting good shots with sun beaming in at the bottom of the road. However it wasn’t just that easy when we came to film at this set because at one point we had to stand in the middle of the road so we could get a LS and a WRS from the correct angle so it wouldn’t look weird when we edit the shots together in Adobe Premier. But the main difficulty at this set was really the oncoming traffic that stopped us from getting some shots, so on the other hand this did delay our precious time gap that we created. There was also another difficultly that we faced that did waste some of our time and this difficulty was when we had to detach some of the equipment in order to maintain another shot for our music video. However at the end of our time filming at this set we managed to get all of the shots we needed in order to create our music video based on the song Read All About by Professor Green ft. The two photos above show the church setting which we arrived at just after we filmed at the bottom of the road; so the time was roughly around six o’clock. So on the other hand this was our second set of the day. This was a good time to arrive at the set because the sun was lowered behind the church so it did give it quite an intense feeling when we was filming outside of the church gates. The two shots we had to film at this location were an ES of the church and a LAS and a PS as the boy was stood outside of the church grounds. We didn’t face many difficulty’s at this set because we was not stood in the middle of the road or anywhere else that could put us at danger so it was very calm when we was filming these shots. However we were struggling to master a PS of the boy as he was stood outside of the church grounds, this was probably difficult because we did not use any equipment to help us complete this shot so if we was to do this again I definitely would consider using the equipment when it is needed. On the other hand at the end of the day we managed to get all of the shots we needed for our music video at the church set. This was the blast set of our first day filming.

The four photos above show another set and we filmed at this set the day after the two other places we visited to film and we arrived at this set at around three o’clock in the afternoon. This set is also based just up the street from the bottom of the road and this was also very close from the young boys house; maybe about fifty yards away. We did this because we wanted the viewers to see the exterior of the house the boy was about to enter to look back at some memories of his Dad. The type of camera equipment we used at this set was only the shoulder jib and the tripod because we did not need the fly-cam to shoot the rest of the shots we needed. The type of shots we filmed at this house was MS, TS, WRS, LS, CUS and many more. We varied the shots because we wanted the viewers to see all of the different camera shots we shot with very small usage of equipment; so on the other hand it made it quite difficult to shoot some of the shots. Some of the difficulty’s we faced at this set was again the oncoming traffic when the young boy was walking to his house and also we faced another difficulty when we was filming in the house because we had lack of space for the hall way was very narrow so it was hard to maintain some of the shots. However at the end of the day we managed to get all of the shots we needed for the music video at this set. I liked this set because the sun was actually beaming from behind us and this did reflect because it was reflecting as the young boy walked towards his house so I thought this was a very effective set and good time of day.

The four photos above show another set we visited on the day we filmed on the narrow road and in the house. We arrived at this set at around five o’clock, because it took us a while to maintain all of the shots we needed at that specific set before. This set was located very close from the set we visited before, so it made it quite efficient when heading to this set to save a lot of time, this is because we took quite a lot of time filming all the other shots before. At this set we decided to film the rap where the male singer would sing and also where the male singer would walk down the road heading towards the house where he grew up. The shots we filmed at this in particular set were MS, TS, CUS, ECUS, PS and a few more. Some of the difficulty’s we faced while filming at this set is again oncoming traffic but on the other this did come very rarely so it was only a minor difficulty. Also the equipment we used to film at this set is the shoulder jib and tripod which you can see in the photo above. So on the hand this set was very easy to film at and we was able to maintain all of the shots we needed at this set so it was actually a very successful day because we maintained most of our shots for our music video in this very short time gap that we had.

The four photos above show a set we visited to film the chorus of our song, where the female singer will perform. We arrived at this set at three o’clock in the afternoon; we did this because we wanted the times to be very similar when we put together the music video so it does not go from day to night and so on. This set was fairly close to all the other sets but this didn’t matter that much for we visited this set on a completely different day. When filming at this set we decided not to use any camera equipment such as the tripod or shoulder jib we just used the camera with no equipment attached because all of the shots was possible to get with no equipment attached. However it did take a while to get some of the shots such as a PS. On the other hand at the end of the day we did manage to get all of the shots we needed to complete our music video. However we did face some difficulty’s such as; there was a few people walking down the path with dogs or on a bike ride, so this on the other hand did give us some delays when filming. We chose this set because when the sun is up it beams through the top of the tree’s which makes the shot look a lot better when filming the chorus of the song. The types of shots we maintained at the end of the day were; PS, CUS, LS, MS, LAS and a WRS. By using all of these types of shots we will be able to create a successful music video chorus.
