CEOASProgressReportsOnceayear,CEOASconductsareviewofstudentprogress.Theprogressreportprovidesanopportunitytoensurethatthestudent-majorprofessorrelationshipishealthy,thatyouareprogressingtowardcompletion,andthatanyunusualorsensitiveissuescanbeidentifiedandresolved.Contentsoftheprogressreportsaremadeavailabletobothyouandyourmajorprofessor.Ifyouhaveissuesthatyouareuncomfortablewritingaboutinthiscontext,pleasebringthemtotheattentionofStudentServicesstaff.

Thefaculty-andstudent-writtenassessmentsaregiventothedisciplinerepresentativeontheGraduateAdmissionCommittee(GAC),whowillcollectandcreateadisciplinereport.Thedisciplinereportprovidesasummaryofthestudent'sstatus.TheGACrepresentativewillsendcopiesofthefaculty-writtenstudentassessmentandthestudentprogressreporttoStudentServices.

RegistrationRequirements(aka‘ContinuousEnrollment’)� Allstudentsongraduateassistantships(.20FTEto.49FTE),mustbeenrolledforaminimumof12credits(9in

summer).Thisrequirementincludesinternationalstudents.MOSTgraduatefellowshipsalsohavearegistrationminimum.Therequirementsforregistrationandhealthinsurancesign-uporopt-outareinyourfundingcontractsthatyousignwithCEOASHR.

� Degree-seekingstudentsnotonassistantshipsmustberegisteredforaminimumof3creditsinanytermtheywishtobeenrolled.Studentsenrollingonlyto“defend”needtobeenrolledfor3credits.ContacttheCOASStudentDevelopmentOfficeforinformationaboutdefending“inthebreak”toavoidpayingadditionaltuition.Enrollmentforlessthan9creditsinatermisconsideredpart-time.
