GraduatestudentsshouldseeMelindaJenseninCEOASAdminBldgRm207toreceiveaspaceassignmentortochangetheirspaceassignment.Ifyouhavepersonalconcernsaboutyourofficespace,pleasecontactRobertAllan,theGraduateServicesDirector.

Youareresponsibleforlockingalldoorsandwindowswhenleavingroomsyouhavebeenusing.Specialcaremustbetakeninthisregardwhenleavingthebuildingattheendofthedayorafterregularhours.Universitybuildingsareopentothepublic.Officeandlaboratorieswithopenorunlockeddoorsarenotsecurefromtheft.Donotletunauthorizedpersonsinthebuilding.Ifanindividualhasbusinessinthebuilding,theyshouldalreadyhaveakeyorcangetonefromStudentServices.ThesignageforyourofficecanbeupdatedbysendingupdateinformationtoLoriHartline.

PosterPrintingFirstandforemost,designyourpostersothatitwillfityourprinter.Forexample,AGUallowsposterstobe4x6feet(48x72inches),buttheprintersatTheValleyLibraryandCEOAShavea42-inchmaximumwidth,so42inchesbyXfeetshouldbethemaximumsizeofyourposter.Thereisavarietyofposterprintingpossibilities.

YoucanhaveoneposterprintedpertermfornochargeatStudentMultimediaServicesintheValleyLibrary.Usethisasyourfirstchoice.Thisrequiresplanningasthisserviceisheavilyutilizedacrosscampus.MakesuretogetyourpostertoStudentMultimediaServicesatleasttwodaysinadvance.

TheCoastalManagementFellowshipwasestablishedin1996toprovideon-the-jobeducationandtrainingopportunitiesincoastalresourcemanagementandpolicyforpostgraduatestudentsandtoprovideprojectassistancetostatecoastalzonemanagementprograms.Theprogrammatchespostgraduatestudentswithstatecoastalzoneprogramstoworkonprojectsproposedbythestateandselectedbythefellowshipsponsor,theNationalOceanicandAtmosphericAdministration(NOAA)OfficeforCoastalManagement.Thistwo-yearopportunityoffersacompetitivesalary,medicalbenefits,andtravelandrelocationexpensereimbursement.
