First used in The Peach Child and more recently in our 2018 Christmas show Finding Santa, this old woman puppet was made by Jan Zalud.

This versatile puppet can be operated as a table top or moving mouth style puppet. Wrapped in bandages, it is the perfect spooky character for Halloween or horror events.

LITTLE ANGEL THEATRE PUPPET HIRESWhen not in use, our puppets are available to hire for projects. We regularly hire our puppets to schools and theatre companies, for single days or week-long hires.

5 - LARGE MONKEYTable top puppet Operated by 1 person Dimensions: 70cm tall, 49cm across, 30cm deepThis charming monkey is carved from wood and covered in brown suede. It is operated via a handle on its back. This puppet was made by Simon Autin for Little Angel Theatre’s production of Peach Child.

7 - SALLY THE ASTRONAUTBunraku/rod puppet Operated by 1-3 people Dimensions: 109cm tall, 39cm across, 37cm deepSally was made for a show called Space Shambles at the RoyalAlbert Hall in 2018. The puppet is a model of Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. She includes fully functioning built-in lights.

12 - WHITE BUTTERFLY x2Rod and string puppet Operated by 1 person Dimensions: 47cm (130cm inc. pole) tall, 97cm wide, 21cm deepThis butterfly has white net wings that can move with a lever on the pole. This puppet was made by Roger Lade and Lyndie Wright for a Little Angel Theatre production of The Fabulous Flutterbys in 2010. There are two white butterflies of identical dimensions, which can be hired individually or as part of a set.

This puppet is operated by two long rods to enable it to ‘fly’. It features Santa and the presents in his sleigh, pulled along by eight reindeer. The reindeer in this puppet mirror the larger reindeer puppet above (number 33).
