Are you aware of the typical terms available to you from different suppliers? Chances are you are really not aware of the terms, risks and increasing cost of your current contract.

The ERA communications team often finds that its clients are unaware of the key terms of their contracts, what prices they are currently paying and how these compare to what they were paying a few years ago and current market ‘value’.

Contracts and terms vary widely between suppliers including how they change prices, how they calculate call charges and what penalties they charge for ‘early termination’ or not meeting a commitment you agreed to.

BT contracts and terms for example are probably the most complex with so many plans, options, overlays, that you need to have a good deal of experience to understand them properly and ensure they meet your business needs.

Many contracts (including BT) can be changed at any time by publishing the changes on a website, as can prices. Do you know all the changes made since you signed your contract?

For example, BT may have made the following changes since you signed your contract:

• Removing the reward credit (none after 31-Aug-14 on business plans)

• Price Increases. The next one is due on 1st

Aug 2014• Increased early termination charges (Jun-14)

Let us help you understand your contracts , what you are committed to, the risks and what alternatives are available. Your business may need more flexibility than you currently have.
