JULY

President’s MessageSummer is upon us and this will be our last newsletter until September. We have been very busy this past month. Corn Hole, Briscola, Bocce and dinners. Parties have also picked up. Attendance for Thursday dinners has been very good and we will continue them as long as they are profitable. The club will be open for our weekly events 5-?. I hope, by the time you get this the parking lot will be sealed and painted.

Planning for this year’s Bravo Festival is entering the final stages. If you have a memorial or ad you would like to place

you can call the club or email me at [email protected]. The Festival is scheduled for August 27th, 28th and 29th. The weekend prior, there will be a bocce tournament August 21st and 22nd, this is open to all.

Remember this fall an Italian beginner’s course will be offered by JCC to both the school and the community online. Chiara Alteri is teaching this course.

Enjoy your summer!

Edward N. Doldo

Auxiliary MessageHappy Summer LADIES!

The Bravo is soon approaching and VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED. If you have a favorite Authentic Italian Cookie, please bring them to the club on August 27th at 9:00am. We will be packaging them and preparing for delivery to the Arena.

There will be a SPECIAL meeting to be held on AUGUST 4th at 6:30pm. The board will meet at 6pm. This meeting is to generate our schedule for working the booth at the Bravo as well as work out the logistics of baking and packaging of the cookies.

I cannot stress the importance of adding to our volunteer list. Please consider donating an hour of your time.

To those of you who have already volunteered to make cookies or pack-age cookies a special thank you.

In the meantime, enjoy the summer and as always, please remember our members who are homebound.

Stay Well,

Lisa Jeschawitz, President Ladies Auxiliary
