IB/ IGCSE Campus:ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Grade 9 & 10 IGCSE: Students at GWH study 9 courses for two years

Grade 11 & 12: All students enroll for IB Diploma program. Students study 6 IB courses(3 HL’s & 3 SL’s) over a period of two years & complete Extended Essay, TOK and CAS.

No rank policy, No GPA Policy. At GWH International Campus, we offer the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, IGCSE curriculum for Grade 9 and 10. IGCSE curriculum follows the grade scale of A*-U (highest to lowest). For Grade 11 & 12, we offer International Baccalaureate Diploma Program which has grading scale of 7 to 1 (highest to lowest).

The final assessment for each student is a blend of formative and summative assessments including periodic examinations, project work, internal assessments, laboratory work and oral presentations. The Internal Formative and Summative assessment at Greenwood High maintain the rigor of the Final IB assessment.

ACCREDITATION Greenwood High is accredited to the council for the Indian Secondary Certificate Examination - applicable fromGrades I to XII, for a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate Secondary Education (Grade 10) Examination. Students are evaluated following the systematic format of Unit Test and Term Exams. Student learning ismeasured on an ongoing basis through regular cycle tests, term examinations and internal assessments.Grade IX and XI have two Unit Tests & two examination cycles.Grade X and XII two Unit Tests & three Examination cycles.Academic reporting is in accordance with the standards outlined by the CISCE (in Percentages) The same grading system applies for the Predicted scores.The school does not rank students within subjects, class or cohort. The school also does not provide the GPA as a means of ranking student performance. Detailed reports for the same are shared with the parents. Final results of ISC students are declared in the month of May.
