Baptisms: We rejoice with Ashley Gray, Jessica Puckett, Courtney Quillen, and Rebecca Weatherly, who were all baptized Friday, Nov. 30, at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center.

Hospitalized:Nova Elliott is in Mercy, following surgery this past Friday for a fractured hip.

Mike Flowers is in Baptist ICU, with complications from his recent kidney transplant.

Peter & Naomi Patton’s grandson’s wife, Katie Wright, is in Baptist, recovering from her liver transplant surgery.

Prayer Requests:Victoria Wilguess is scheduled for heart surgery Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Our Sympathyis extended to...

Mel & Marly Latorre who have had two recent deaths in their family. Mel’s brother, Carlos Latorre, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Also, Mel lost an uncle on Monday, Dec. 3, in Sao Paulo.

Peggy Day and the Pat O’Neal family on the death of Peggy’s brother and Jan’s uncle, James Boyd, Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Lubbock, Texas.

Other News:Coats Needed: New and gently-used coats of all sizes (children’s and adults’) are needed for our Sharing Room. You may take coats directly to the Sharing Room or put them in the box at Information Central.

2019 Purpose Cards & Budget InformationThis morning, we are collecting completed Purpose Cards during service. You can pick up your Purpose Card in your pew, at the auditorium exits, or at Information Central. Completed Purpose Cards can be placed in the drop box at Information Central or given to elders, ministers, Greg Schaefer, or Tammy McKeever. You may also email your purpose card information to Tammy. If you have any questions regarding the cards, you can direct those to tammy.mckeever@mrcc.org. Holiday Giving Efforts Wrapped UpMagi Gift Boxes

So far this Christmas season, our congregation has given over 300 Magi boxes, with more coming in weekly.

Christmas Gift Projects

Our Christmas Gift Projects are given to families at Luther, Capitol Hill, and here at Memorial Road. Luther received 131 gifts, Capitol Hill received 115 gifts, and Memorial Road received 66 gifts.

Mabel Bassett

Our members raised $4,691 to be put toward gift baskets for inmates at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center.
