STATIC ANALYSIS

The static analysis allows to have useful information on

the rigidity of the machine tool and its components.

How is the structure deformed under the effect of a

ENERGETIC AND MODAL ANALYSIS

For every natural vibrating modes all the components

contribute in different measure to the elastic and

kinetic potential energy, depending on their stiffness

and mass, respectively.

But how far? On which components can I act to

improve the efficiency of my machine?

FRFs FROM MODAL EXTRACTION AND DIRECT FRFs

From FRFs the most important natural vibrating

modes are highlighted.

PHI DRIVE is able to calculate FRF (frequency response

function) that also take into account: concentrated

damping (sliding blocks, ball screws, ...) and the one

introduced by the speed loop of the numerical control

ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES FOR COMPLEX MODELS

Some analysis are unsolvable except on models with

few degrees of freedom.

The FEM model of a machine has many degrees of

freedom.

How to do?

PHI DRIVE has developed the hybrid model, faithful to

the original FEM, but suitable for analysis that could

not be solved otherwise.
