Calling all new families of St Luke’s and those with young children!
The St Luke’s Playgroup meets once a week on a Monday 9am - 11am
in the Church hall. No sign-up required! Just bring a gold coin donation
and a piece of fruit. It is a great way to meet new friends and families
from the school.

Parents St Luke’s Woodvale
As a method of further increasing the communication between the P & F and all of
the St Luke’s community the P & F have started a facebook page.
This page will primarily be used to keep you informed about school news, meetings,
events, fundraising, information, sporting, social evenings etc…
If you would like to join our page and keep up to date with school, please send a
friend request via facebook to Parents St Luke’s Woodvale.
Please note that in an effort to maintain security you will not automatically be added
to the page as it is a closed group. You must send a request to join.

FOOTY TIPPING 2014
Registrations for the 2014 Footy Tipping are now open. The footy tipping competition is online and is
hosted by www.footytips.com.au.
The competition is open to all St. Luke’s families, relatives, friends and workmates. It is a great way to have
fun and be in the running to win some great cash prizes along the way.
A fantastic weekly cash prize and more are on offer throughout the home and away season. Why not join
the fun for the small entry cost of $50.00? All you need to do is complete the attached registration form and
return it to the office (with entry fee). You can pay by EFT and also receiving your winnings by EFT.
For 2014 there have been some changes in how the prize money will be allocated. The footy tipping has
been running at a loss and we are unable to continue doing this. Registration fees will still be $50 and there
is still the $50 weekly top tipper prize but the mid-season and end of season prize money amounts will be
subject to how many registrations are received. Once registrations have closed I will let tippers know what
the mid and end of season prize amounts will be. The more registrations received the more prize money for
tippers.
When your registration and fee has been received you will be emailed the competition details (login and
password) so you can join up and start tipping!
We need your registrations now so don’t delay, let’s get tipping! Registrations close Tuesday 11th March.

BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE FUNDRAISER
The P&F newsletter is published weekly as an avenue of communication regarding events
and fundraising within the school community. Submissions are invited from Class Liaison
Representatives to communicate parent events. Please email your submission by 11am
Monday so that it may be included in that week’s newsletter. For any enquiries please

St Luke’s has been lucky enough to secure two dates for the
fundraising BBQ at Bunnings; Saturday 20th September and
Saturday 15th November. Last year we were able to raise
$2,600 in one fundraising day, mark these dates in your
diary!
