STEAM AND HEAT

Boiler house delivered as self-supporting structure. It

contains burner, boiler, economizer and BMS.

Outside boiler house you will find wood powder silo,

flue gas filter, fan and stack.

• Fuel used

Wood powder is stored in powder silo, and then burned in Petro PCES burner as main fuel. Natural gas, LPG or oil (LFO, HFO) as secondary fuel

• Steam production

The same load following capability as gas or oil makes it very useful for steam production

• Capacity

0.8 MW as min load and 6 MW as maximum load on wood powder. Turndown ratio 1:3. On secondary fuel 0.8MW is min load and 9MW max. Turn down ratio 1:5. Wood powder and secondary fuel can be used simultaneously.

• Connections

All connections are at pipe stubs outside the boiler house

• Ground preparation

The boiler house is self-supporting with low level of ground preparation demand. Gravel bed is sufficient. Wood powder silo need concrete foundation

Wood powder silo size is based on truck load

capacity. One or two silos of 169 m3, depends on

energy demand at site. Silo need to have concrete

foundation, built with regards to wind load etc.

From silo the wood powder is transported to the

burner by a screw conveyer.

PCES – Petro Compact Ecoflame System, is an

advanced multi fuel burner. Main fuel is wood powder,

with capability to combust both oil and gas as

secondary fuel.

Control System

Petro Boiler House is delivered with a control system

for efficiency, safety and environmental performance.

The control system is designed to allows remote

control through any VPN-client.

ESP - ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATORS, is an

economical and technologically mature solution for

removing dust from the flue gases generated by

biomass-fired boiler plants. The ESP can be used in

all applications that utilize wood and wood waste,

bark, straw and similar materials for the generation of

inexpensive heat energy.
