What Do Our Students Need?

What are we doing as a district to have constancy in our technology?

•Each grade level has access to computers consistently throughout the day

•Every grade level has document cameras, projectors, Mobiboard and CPS systems

•Grades 5-8 have i-Pads that have been integrated into the Science curriculum

•Grades K-2 have i-Pods to use during Reading and Phonics

How is Technology Increasing Student Achievement in our district?

Before we implemented our technology integration students were scoring in the 50% on Achievement test. Now, students are scoring 60% or higher.

Our high school students have improved their achievement tests every year since we implemented out technology program.

Through our technology integration program we are giving them the tools to prepare for jobs that don’t even exist today.

Professional DevelopmentTechnology alone cannot improve test scores. Teachers need to be prepared for using the technology to enhance and transform their instructions.
