The principle investigator of a scientific research project which was granted by Scientific Research Council of King Abdulaziz University, S.R.C.K.A.U. (1988). The research project is entitled “Oral and Dental Manifestations Associated with Diabetics in Saudi Arabia”. This research project extended for two years. Grant No. 408/036.

3) A Scientific Research Grant from S.R.C.K.A.U., 1989. The principle investigator of a scientific research project, which was granted by the Scientific Research Council of King Abdulaziz University, S.R.C.K.A.U. (1989). The principle investigator of the research project, which has been designed to compare the need for periodontal care amongst 15-year-old children in Ireland and Saudi Arabia.
