PERSOFTAL® NANO-SIL Enhanced properties through Nano-technology

PERSOFTAL® NANO-SIL NANO is from the greek word Nanos = dwarf. With NANO technology we point at chemistry or structures which are smaller than 100 nanometer (a billionth of a meter). Definition Nano-technology is a generic term for a wide range of technologies, which are working in structures und processes in a range of Nanometer. TANATEX is offering products based on NANO-technology. Not because Nano is a fashion word, but because the technology behind these products really give you additional benefits, due to their unique structure. PERSOFTAL® NANO-SIL is our newest softener, based on a nano-emulsion aminomodified silicone.

A nano-emulsion, like PERSOFTAL® NANO-SIL, will penetrate deeper into the fabric and yields an optimal, fine distribution into the very core of the fabric, which will give unique properties and application possibilities: • of course a splendid flexible fabric, with

“no internal” friction • high compatibility with most finishing

products • perfect combination with anti-slip/anti-

snag finish products based on silica, to give a good handle without negatively influencing the anti-slip/anti-snag properties

• high shear stability • excellent raising properties, especially for

synthetics, like PES-fleece • superb handle after calendering • hydrophilic • certain anti-static action
