Club ReadFoster your students’ love of reading with Club Read. The Club Read programs, topics, and booklists are designed to help create and build a love for reading in youth. Each unique topic is specially selected, researched, and presented for the three main grade ranges of elementary, middle school, and high school.

Club Read is a program developed by Perma-Bound’s in-house librarians; it

provides an easily accessible avenue of information and material that children

and young adults will love and want to read. The booklists are compiled by a

Curriculum Specialist, and the titles are chosen for a very specific subject of books.

The topics selected inspire recreational reading as well as present classroom study

opportunities. Each booklist is supported by a credible source, showing research

that has been done to substantiate the benefits of the topic and booklist.

QR Codes

Perma-Bound’s QR Code program enables anyone with a smartphone to maneuver easily from print to web.

QR (Quick Response) Codes are two-dimensional barcodes. These barcodes

can contain a URL (web address), text, business card, or other information that

can be read by a QR scanner application on your smartphone.

If you have a smartphone, go to the app store related to your specific smartphone,

and search for a QR code reader. You’ll find several free applications. To access the

QR code information on the printed piece, run the application on your smartphone

and then hold your phone’s camera over the Perma-Bound QR Code and take a

snapshot using the QR app to read the code.

This is another great tool from Perma-Bound that improves your interactive

experience with perma-bound.com on your mobile device. Staying connected

makes technology work for you.
