W ear facility-approved operative attire when enteringthe semi-restricted and restricted areas of the
operative and invasive procedure suite
W ear approved , clean , and freshly laundered operative attire.
After daily use or when operative attire becomes soiled , wet with blood , body fluid , sweat , place reusable attire in designated post-use container.
Secure the top of pantsuit at the waist by tuc king into pants or securing it to fit closely to the body.

C over head and facial hair, including neckline,when in semi restricted and restricted areas of the operative and invasive procedure
suite.
Before donning operative attire, cover all hair with facilit y-approved capor bouffant hat that covers the side hair including the ears and hair at the nape of
the neck. Discard used hair covers in an appropriate
container.

WEARING OPERATIVE ATTIRE
W hen in restricted areas, wear a mask in the presence of the sterile items, equipment, or scrubbed personnel.
W hen wearing a mask, cover both the mouth and nose and secure it in a manner that prevents venting.
Avoid contamination of the hands b y removing and
discarding a mask, handling onl y the ties. Do not let a mask hang from the neck.
Do not tuck a mask into a pocket for future use.
