Since the Perimeter system is modular at all levels, it can

be scaled out to accommodate any level of performance or

consistency. The modules in the system consist of load

balancers (LBs), Traffic Switches (TSs), Media Switches

(MSs), and Core Databases (DBs). High availability is

achieved through the use of multiple modules, control

protocols and OSPF. This means that if a component of the

system becomes unavailable, the system will self-heal

without user intervention.

Perimeter is sold exclusively as a SAAS model.

The licensing allows the system to be deployed in multiple

datacenters and controlled through a single interface.

Additionally, customers can mix and match how the

platform is purchased. Currently the platform can be

purchased by Ports, CPS or SIP Trunks and multiple

licenses can be layered to cater to specific workloads.

tasks like provisioning, routing and troubleshooting require
