    Bradfield College Schola Cantorum, Choral Society and Old Bradfieldian Choir join forces in the glorious atmosphere of Douai Abbey, accompanied by the College string ensemble. Come and hear the sonorous tones of Durufl meld into the luxurious acoustic, contrasted with the sparkle of Vivaldis most famous work. A choral spectacular for a great cause, not to be missed.

    Since the Clara Quartet formed in 2014, they have performed at venues including St Mary Abbots Church in Kensington, and have an upcoming concert at Cadogan Hall. They received a Class I Distinction for their RCM Chamber Music recital, and were chosen to record the soundtrack for Hitchcock film The Lodger at Abbey Road Studios.     Founded in 1998, the Kinsky Trio Prague is one of the outstanding Czech chamber ensembles. The Trio studied at the Academy of Music in Prague under Vclav Bernek, cellist of the Kocian Quartet, has taken part in several master classes (e.g. with the Guarneri Trio and the Florestan Trio) and regularly consults with the famous Czech pianist Ivan Moravec and with Pavel Hula, first violinist of the Prazak Quartet.     We are proud to present legendary double bassist Alec Dankworth flanked by the enthralling talent of Simon Lasky on the keys. Having been born into jazz royalty, Alec has worked with an amazing list of artists including Van Morrison, Stephane Grappelli, Abdullah Ibrahim, and The Dave Brubeck Quartet. Pupils will also take to the stage, having worked with Alec during the afternoon.
