DESCRIPTION
Monique Van Kerkhof became involved in Modern Dance at the ‘Liefde’ in Amsterdam were she studied the Cunningham Graham technique and Improvisation. Her career included a move to Barcelona, Spain at which time she studied at the ‘La Fabrica’ followed by a move to New York City to study at the ‘Alvin Nikolais Dance School’ and the MerceCunningham Studio. from where she received a scholarship Since 1985, she has created performances and video art,as well as working as a Computer Graphics Designer at her own studio.TRANSCRIPT
