Bachelor´s degree programmes

Conditions for admission to internship

- The internship is obligatory for students of thefull-time study at the university (during the 5th semester of studies)

- The internship must correspond to the given fieldof study

- Students must reach 80 credits by the 15th of July in the ongoing academic year

- The obligatory internship starts from 1st ofSeptember to 31th of January (internship duringthe summer semester must be approved by thevice-rector for study affairs)

How can students apply for internship?

Performance of mandatory internship

- Students must send the „Application forIntership Approval“ to the contactcentre in the Academic InformationSystem which must contain„Confirmation of Arranged Internship“ signed by the company where is theinternship performed

- The original of the confirmation mustbe saved at the Study AffairsDepartment

How can students apply for internship?

- Internship must be approved at the„Application form“ by the coursesupervisor of the field of study:

• Department of Logistics, Quality and Automotive Technology • Department of Marketing and Management• Department of Human Resources Management etc.

- If the student´s internship is performed

at external organisations, students mustarrange two originals of the document„Agreement on cooperation in student internships“ (if the internship isperformed at our partner´s

organisations this agreement is not required)

Conditions during the mandatory intership

- The mandatory internship lasts 20 working weeks at least and typicallytakes countinuously within oneorganisation (8 working hours a day)

- Students have 10 days off- In case of illness students must have

sick notes which will be checked by theresponsible person from the Study Affairs Department at the end ofinternship

- Companies send the overview ofstudent´s work attendance

Internship completion-bachelor´s degree programmes

- Students submit a written report on 2-3 A4 pages describing thecourse of the internship

- Students submit „Confirmation ofinternship performance“ and „Trainee evaluation“ signed by therepresentative of the organisation

- Both documents are to besubmitted by 15th of February in the given academic year

- The performance of the internshipis confirmed within the AIS by theauthorised person only afterfulfilling all the conditions of theinternship

Performance of an optional professional internship

Master´s degree programmes

- An optional professional internship isset for full-time students

- It is recommended to take theprofessional internship in the 2nd or3rd semester of study or in any period

- The optional professional internshipmust correspond to the given field ofstudy (potential benefit for furtherprofesional development of thestudent is expected)

- Students must work 400 hours

- As a part of the application must bedescription of expected goals during theinternship in the form of project 1-2 A4 pages

Internship completion - Master´s degree programmes

- Students submit a written report on 10-15 A4 pages describing the internship in theform of project and evaluating theachievement of internship goals

- Students submit „Confirmation of internshipperformance“ signed by the representative ofthe organisation

- The performance of the internship isconfirmed within the AIS by the authorisedperson only after fulfilling all conditions ofthe internship as a compulsory electivecourses in the language internshipperformance for 15th credits

through the form (it is not mandatory, opponent can be assigned by the head of

Students must insert the bachelor´s thesis in the AIS and hand over the

bachelor´s thesis to Study Affairs Department
