SKIDPAN COMPETITIONThis part of the program consists of a course set out on the skidpan. With the water turned on, the participant has to negotiate three laps of a tight course without hitting any cones - hit the cones and you get a time penalty. Then come to a complete stop in the Start/Finish zone. The fastest time wins!

THE WOK CHALLENGENo, you aren’t cooking your own lunch, but undertaking a fun team building activity where teams have to manoeuvre a small car through a special course. To add to the fun, we attach a Wok on the bonnet with a ball placed inside it. The objective is to keep the ball in the Wok while achieving the fastest time on the course - who will slice, dice and stirfry the opposition the fastest?

Learn to drive like a Hollywood Stunt Driver!

Jam-packed with fast and furious FUN where YOU learn some of the most exciting stunt driving tricks in the movie industry - and then take what you’ve learnt and shoot your own stunt scene!

LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! STUNT DRIVER GC TRAININGLearn how to do forward and reverse 360-degree spins, drive on two wheels, reverse J-turns, jumping, high speed reverse driving and lots of real Hollywood stunts, all in a safe and controlled environment under the watchful eye of our professional instructors!

Once you’ve perfected your stunts, you’re ready to plan and rehearse a classic Hollywood takedown stunt scene, before shooting it - just like the movies!

The Performance Driving Centre offers more than Advanced Driver Training and the V8 Supercars

It has been used by many leading race teams and sponsors as a venue for ride days that also include practical elements, without the restrictions of hiring a traditional racing facility or sharing with competitors.

The Performance Driving Centre hosts a number of regular events that engage car enthusiasts and the corporate market:

W.A.R. (Wednesday Afternoon Racing)Brisbane and the Gold Coast’s performance car enthusiasts come together once a month to get the most out of their performance vehicles.

Lamborghini meets Aston Martin meets Ferrari, Porsche, Lexus and Nissan in a number of high octane skill tests.

As part of the W.A.R. program, the Performance Driving Centre places its highly skilled instructors with the car owners so they can improve their skills

and learn how to pilot their vehicles as the manufacturer intended!

Karting MastersThis is our version of an afternoon round of golf! Each Tuesday, we create a circuit and let our professionally prepared 125cc Rotax powered race karts stretch their legs.

Hitting 130kph just millimetres from the ground, Karting Masters is great fun and provides great networking opportunities. Professional drivers are not allowed and new drivers are welcome. Once racing’s over, everyone gets the chance to get together and re-live the moment at trophy presentations.

Off-Road Racin’Our 4WD facility allows for drivers to bring their own 4WDs or use one of our all terrain vehicles to get down and dirty. The Performance Driving Centre sets up a series of challenges for off-road racers - may the best man win! Manufacturers are welcome to bring their 4WD machines and show off their true credentials!

8.30am Arrival at the Performance Driving Centre / Sign in. Coffee & Tea served. Following an overview of the day’s activities and driver’s briefing, guests will then be suited up in a race suit and helmet to commence the V8 Supercars Experience.9.00am V8 SUPERCARS EXPERIENCE Guests will drive 12 Laps in the V8 Supercars Experience Guests will then be briefed on the V8 Supercar Enduro Challenge. V8 SUPERCARS ENDURO The group will be divided into two teams. Each driver must complete 2 laps of the circuit. Vehicles will be located in pit bays (space allocated for this) which will form the start and finish line. When the flag drops, the first driver must strap themselves into their allocated vehicle and commence the race. Once they have completed their laps, they must return to their allocated pit bay, park the vehicle (engine left running), get out of the car and allow the next driver into the vehicle and so on. The race is on to finish first! The winning team will be taken for a 2 Lap Ride in the V8 Supercar Ride Car Then return to lecture room to change and issue of Certificates/Trophies12.15 WORKSHOP TOUR Guests will receive a guided tour of our V8 Supercar workshop12.30pm Approx (departure or lunch)
