ECO LAYER EXTRUSION TECHNOLOGY

DualEdge® Eco Layer profiles consist of VEKA’s standard

high-performance, weatherable PVC outer shell, along with

our own in-house captured PVC substrate. By using our own

material for the substrate, VEKA is assured that the highest

quality, high-performance ingredients are blended into the

formulation, guaranteeing that DualEdge will exceed industry

standards. As a result of proven performance characteristics,

DualEdge comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Heat Resistance:Laminates from VEKA achieve a 10% lower predicted heat buildup when compared to other dark color solutions.

Chemical Resistance:Laminate foil is resistant to common household cleaners such as ammonia water, low alcohol content mixtures, non-abrasive cleaners, wet concrete and plaster. Laminate foil is not resistant against organic solvents, preparations containing organic solvents (such as thinners or removers for lacquers, polishing liquids, glues or other).All cleaning substances should be tested at a non-visible part for compatibility before use.

Care and Maintenance:Our recommendations are that profiles be cleaned regularly with a damp, soft cloth. If necessary, a mild detergent/soap solution in lukewarm water can be used. Polishes, abrasives and organic solvent cleaner should be avoided.
