INFORMATION AREASStaff and student ambassadors will be on hand to provide you with information about Monash courses, facilities and services at the general information area located at the library, Building L. Representatives from scholarships, student finance, admissions, Monash Residential Services, the Yulendj Indigenous Engagement Unit, careers, volunteering and leadership, and on-campus childcare will all be in the general information area.

FACILITIES FOR STUDENTSFacilities include fully furnished on-campus accommodation, a bookshop, health and welfare services, cafes and a bar, a new activity and recreation centre with a range of health and fitness facilities, a hockey and soccer facility, a tennis court, a basketball court, a performing arts theatre, computer laboratories and a library.

Monash University is a smoke-free environment.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCEFor urgent medical treatment or emergencies, dial 333 from any university phone or use the red emergency phones located around the campus.

Campus security can be contacted directly on 9904 4318 or through the white speaker security phones located at building entry points.

The Peninsula campus is about 40 minutes south of Melbourne, and is close to the beach. It’s a hub for training health professionals in a variety of fields, educators in early and primary years and health and physical education, and professionals in business. There’s a bus connection to the Frankston train station, along with a free shuttle bus that runs between Peninsula and Clayton campuses.
